I'm needing a new computer and thinking of going with a laptop for portability. I had a laptop from 2001 that's bitten the dust. I know the Intel cards aren't supported by GW tech support. I've also read on the forums that some of them will work. I can't afford to spend more than $500 or so on a new computer. What do you think of this/any other recommendations?

My main computer use is web browsing, word/excel, quickbooks, picture editing (NOT complicated), and my only demanding game is GW (Prophecies, Nightfall, EoTN) Not planning on picking up any new, more graphically-demanding games.
TIA for any help/advice.
what about this laptop?

It's more then enough to play guildwars on but I don't think it will run GW2 very well.
I found this one it's pretty much the same but from a better brand and same price it also got a numpad =] http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-663-_-Product

for the 50 extra bucks you get a better laptop in my opinion. Dell is garbage when it comes to the quality of their sub $700 stuff.

Do NOT buy the Dell or the HP either --- the one from newegg is by far the best laptop component wise and you won't have to pay sales tax from them either.

Although the Intel integrated graphics have gotten better, you're still better off to get something with ATI or nVidia.
