Added the -character command line argument.



Was a huge update for just this, methinks more was added in.

Today is tuesday the 22nd. The last post of yesterday's update was wrong as well lol.

Don't think so, it was so big because it was a new version of the exe, which is like 7.5mb.

It's the 23rd here in New Zealand >.<;

Yet again in the middle of AT's.. Im sure this was ultra urgent it had to be doneright then too... /fail

Wait for Regina to tell you that they didn't tell us prior because that would give the hackers a head start again

What exactly does this update mean? I don't really understand.

It's a line you can add to the startup of Guild Wars that automatically types in your character name for you. I don't know why you'd need it since you can click remember my user and character in game and it works just the same.

Multiple Accounts.

Correct. Some people who run multiple accounts create multiple GW icons each with different email/password/character name information to simplify their time in having to retype all the crap in every time.

Or some lazy people like myself don't feel like typing the password every time they log in.

And a +1 security precaution (if you don't type it out then a key logger wont log the keys?)

At least that is how i understand it ?

How big exectly is this update? it keeps downloading and downloading and doesn't seem to stop.

As long as your neighbor doesn't come into your home, and examines the GW shortcut.

Or your ex-gilfriend who wants to give you a farewell present.

Or your mother who thinks you have been playing GW waaaaay too much.
