So I made quest after quest and he bring me to the ascalon thingie. I made it and now I am in the Old AAscalon. I still had quests in Ascalon before I went to the Old Ascalon but I didn't done them since the storyline didn't put me thru it. I searched on google and it seems I can't go back. I am level 5. Is that bad that I went there because I also saw on google there were some skill quests...now I can't do them anymore? I also saw on google I shall sava materials to make good armor before going to the old ascalon but I still have the level 1 armor. What now? I need to restart my char :O

You should start reading because it clearly says you won't be able to return once you do the mission in presearing.

So is it bad? I shall restart my char or there is no problem at all? Because I really wanna do all the quests to gain the skill points.

No, if you don't wish to, there is no need to restart. It might be a little harder as you might have to buy more skills (if there were any skills in presearing which you didn't get but would have liked too, but it's not a big deal) and you can get new armor in old ascalon (either from collectors or from crafters). Just let the past go and move on

I agree with yasmine... not getting the quests that gives skills isnt imperative.. you just missed the opportunity to earn them opposed to paying 1K + 1 skill point to buy them from the local skill trainer. The armorers and weaponsmiths in OA will offer better goodies if you can get the cash for them.

Also, most of the skills you can get in pre-searing are also available from skill quests post-searing. And there are a lot more skills available from quests - in Prophecies you don't have to buy them all.

own age no it doesn't... skills are bought and the price increases but not 100g ea...

I made my char again and in 2 hours I was there where I left it and made all the quests that gave skills. I am almost level 7. Huh ready for the trouble Btw where can I get some good gear before I leave? I have a good bow but need gear. I have 500 gold and for materials I have some candy canes, 1x pill of glattering dust and some spider wands. At bow I also made a customize so I have 7-10+35% dmg and some +hp bonus. But the armor is with wich I started. And damm hope tomorrow my full copy will arrive
Yasmine
For new armor in presearing you need to get to collectors (the list can be seen here: http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/List_...earing_Ascalon). Don't bother with the headpiece, you will get new armor soon anyway. Actually, you could just skip the presearing armor at all. Here is a list of armor collectors in old ascalon: http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/List_...ors_in_Ascalon and there are crafters in the city itself, if you can afford and don't wish to bother with collectors.

Actually right now I am looking for banoit but i can't find him :O
Yasmine
Are you in post searing already then?
Lovele
pre-searing....where is green grass I saw on wiki there is an armorer called banoit somewhere
Yasmine
There is only collector armor in presearing. Armor crafters (like banoit) can be found only in post. Also, if you don't need other gear cept armor for now, you could buy the armor from the other ascalon armore, Corwen, he stands near Banoit, but offers more expensive and better armor (although it doesn't particulary matter at this stage).

Oh too bad. Than it seems I am ready to move further. Thanks for helping me.
