pet levels spawned in menagerie

do I understand it correctly:

1/ if I give a pet level 11 or below to Emryd the Tamer, Wynn will not spawn it for me

2/ if I give a pet level 12 or higher to Emryd the Tamer, Wynn will spawn it back in any evolution I want, but always at level 12


So every time I want to switch pets I have to level (or death level) the pet back from 12 to 20, even if I put it in at a level 20 originally?

no, you see there are tiers of pet levels that you can spawn

if you put a pet you get all the tiers below it, level 20 is the highest tier

go to wiki, it might be able to explain better then me

1: yes, lower than 12 will not spawn pets

2: depends on the evolution. Check the tier list.

gotcha. So bring in level 20 pets and they will spawn a level 20 when you switch pets.

I assume that if you brought in a level 12 and you level it to 20 afterwards, you bring it in again and from there on Wyn will spawn a level 20?

Wynn will spawn any lower tier.

But not all lvl20 are the same. Elder lvl20 is lower tier than Dire/Hearty lvl20. Bringing in an Elder lvl20 will not make you be able to spawn a Dire or Hearty lvl20.

just bring a lvl 5 pet and use balthazar faction to lvl and/or get evolutions.
u need 9k faction to bring a lvl5 to lvl20 with all evolutions.
can easily get 9k at RA in less than an hour

thats the laziest way possible if u can't death lvl it.
