Should I finish nightfall with my Dervish?
anarchyel
Alright so I first had Nightfall, and played it as Dervish, but today I bought both eye of the north and prophecies!
I wanted to make a new Dervish (yeah it's dumb but my other wasn't far anyway), and I wanted to know if I should just go to Tyria as soon as I can with my Dervish without finishing nightfall, would there be bonuses that I wouldn't have?
Because I don't feel like playing the Nightfall campaign right now, I want to do them later.
Thanks!

The first campaign I usually finish is EotN, it's just the most rewarding in terms of PvE skills/drop quality and general speed of the campaign.
Once you get a character through the EotN, they (and you) should have enough skills to do just about anything /w the char.

Ahh, and I can begin it with a newly made character?
Gennadios
Can't begin it with a newly made char. You'll need to do NF quests until you reach level 10 before the quest that takes you to EotN triggers, so you might as well save some time and get your existing Derv in there.

Stick with your current derv untill at least you get the command post all set up, that way you can at least change your secondary, and go into FoW and UW.
When you get to the command post you might as well take a walk around the place and cap all the forms over there.
When you get to this point you could just use faction to get the skills that are further into the game

Alright, thanks Gennadios.
Xenex, what do you mean by the forms?

The only reason i would travel to tyria is to get free skills from quests, but we're talking about core classes skill, so the dervish is out. In my opinion you should progress with nightfall and eotn, and maybe roll a new tyrian character to play the storyline of prophecies.

Why don't you do what you please?
You bought the game to play and to have a good time now didn't you?

First of all, it's up to you what you ill done first/after/nevr. My suggestion is, do Nightfall, in Proph, get runned to towns, and o only the Shiverpeak Missions to get on Fire Island, and you then got actually every town without doing anything (if yu don't like doing it), otherwisedone EotN for PvE Skills/Titles and new Armors.

where you enter prophecies at with a character from another chapter is not maxed level (lions arch)--the mobs around there are only lower teens....if your dervish is still low level you can get some points there.
Factions drops you in Kaineng which has maxed level mobs as does eye.....so if your dervish is level 20 you could easily romp around factions and eye for some fun.
Other wise you are not required to do anything to play the game as you wish (though to progress in some areas you will need to do quests/missions to open towns etc).
Do as you wish....have fun with it.

The biggest thing you get from beating NF is access to those heroes you passed up on earlier as well as a rit hero.

If you don't feel like finishing Nightfall right now, then don't. Just put Nightfall on the back burner and go dive into Prophecies or Eye of the North.
