I was in a district, before event started. It finished with no hat to anyone in town (presents still going).

Looks like a lot of districts failed to receive hats.

Great start to the new year. Got grenths hat fine in LA, switched to kamadan and didn't get a dwayna's hat. (I'm not the only one, tons of others are QQing about it as well)

Similar thing happened to me. A friend and I were in LA and each got a Grenth hat (Ice Shard Crest.) Together, we zoned to Kamadan. We found a district where the ring game was still going on. Standing there together on the same team, my friend got a Kamadan Dwayna hat and I did not. We were both getting presents from the fireworks in Kamadan.

I don't think it's as simple as whole districts aren't getting hats. :/

Got grenth hat from lions arch then mapped to Kamadan before it started
and didnt get one for dwayna ,dwayna won the 9 rings

This was not the only event that this happened to me. I had afked in last Kamadan event and got back and saw I had no hat, I'm not really sad, but just pointing out that this has happened before. Also got no Dwayna hat either from Kamadan, got my Grenth hat fine from LA.

Which basically means a LOT of people probably still won't be receiving their hats because knowing it now, it's probably going to require a GW.exe restart and 80% of games the population is AFK on the rings.

These are not hats. I didn't coin the term, but I'm one of the few people that suggested it. This year, we got tiaras.

I don't mind that the tiara was a "simple" design. I actually like it this way, so then it doesn't eclipse my regular armor.

Oh, they're definitely half assed. But what did you expect? The design team obviously spent a lot of time making costumes instead of hats.

So far most of the reports appear to be about Kamadan. If anyone did not receive a hat in Lion's Arch, our QA team would appreciate reports about that, as it would help with their investigation. (For me, personally, I was in Lion's Arch, and I did get a hat, but it's possible that others may not have received theirs.)

The following info would really help our team:

What town were you in? Example: Lion's Arch or Kamadan.
What district? (approximate is fine if you don't know the exact number) Example: American District #34; German District #2.
Did the event take place? That is, did Grenth and Dwayna have their battle, did you get presents, etc?
Were you in the town before the finale "battle" started, before Grenth and Dwayna appeared?
Which hat would you have gotten? That is, which diety won the battle?

This information is being collected at the link above.
