I know it's pretty sudden to post this, but I'm thinking if we can't have the glitch fixed by the time the event is over, at least let the hat maker offer it freely for a limited time so we don't miss it.
Can I get everyone's support for this?

ive been to 3 dywanna districts and 1 grenth. Got the grenth hat the first time b/c i exscpected a huge difference between the 2( i was wrong but they boht look good). I then went to 3 different districts all of them winning for dywanna. Still didnt get the dywanna hat(this one looks the most intricate so i want this one the most

I have my grenth hat, which was the one I really wanted so I don't particularly care if the bug gets fixed and I get the other one for myself. But it would be nice for people who are totally missing out to get their goodies.

I'd like to see this happen aswell. Though I was able to get both hats from the first two visits, the last two visits, I've not even for the dups for just being there. And I think only 10% of the people within my alliance has gotten them. If they don't do the hat maker supply, make a redo next weekend like they did in 2008 for the Dragon Festival Lag Fest.

Anet is re-running the event, so there should be no cause for this if there's a second chance. However, I have a feeling that if the prob existed because of laggy servers than a re-run may not do anything but repeat what happened.

An NPC has been used for Dragon Fest that lasts a week after the party. I dont see why this cant be done for Wintersday as well. Half the drop times reported not recieving any hats, and some people have jobs, sleep, or go to school and have missed out. I know personally, a guildie is in the war in Iraq atm and can not just log on at anytime to fit anets schedule. Im sure hes not the only one.

You know how Anet wants us to be at the event to get the hats right, if you were not at wintersday 2005, you wont get wintersday 2005 hat no matter how much you beg, and it doesnt matter if you only started playing guildwars in feb of 2006, its just bad luck, and something for the people that were there to show of with.
If they just add the hats to the npc players that havent bothered to play in years will still get the hat even though they were not here.
In my opinion having the event rerun on saturday/sunday next week would be the best thing to do, they just have to be sure to announce it well in advance like tomorrow or the day after.
That way you still HAVE to show up to the event to get the hat.Also some people seem to like that the event is being rerun because of more presents, so you could see that as Anets way of saying sorry.
