Hello all. I started farming in FoW with my derv for the first time but wanted to try my own build instead of using the one on wiki. With the following build I am able to clear the entire beach (Doubter's Dryder,Snarling Driftwood,& Ancient Skale) the build featured on wiki has trouble with the dryder and cant take the skale. But witht he build im running im having troulbe taking out the spiders. So any input to improve my build or if it would just be better to use the one on wiki and skip the dryder and skale.

P.S. as im not a pro at FoW farming i was also wondering if it is even profitable? Iv been a few times and between the 4 obi shards and a couple decent chest drops it has been so far but at 1k trip im not sure if its worth it. Thank you for your time and input

fow farming is not worth it unless you can farm hardmode and with a derv it wont work. just do fowsc's or something more profitable if your looking for money. or if your looking for shards fowsc usually gives 2-4 per run and sometimes more if your lucky including the occasional ruby/sapphire

Use the one on wiki.
Scales don't drop shards, so no point in taking them, and it takes the dryder perfectly fine. I have used it hundreds of times now, and easily farmed my first pair of FoW armor without ever doing an FoWSC.

Generally I don't like PVX, but the FoW beach farm on PVX isn't too bad at all, still easier just to go in with a perma who can kill everything, but I'm not too interested in my perma (In fact I refuse to get him expensive armor till I find a use for him besides SF) so I like it when i can farm something with another class.
