As you all probably know, if your account is not linked with NCSOFT, you are able to reset the password through GW interface, unfortunately, I have been trying to do this for the last couple of days for one of my accounts and so far I have not received any emails.
Has any of you had a similar problem? I just asking, because I want to avoid the tedious back and forth emails between support and me.

What email do you refer to, when changing a non linked account it just asks you for the old password (like it should be) and then asks you for the new password, there is no email.
I just changed my password twice right now, and the first time it didnt do anything and the second time it a message poped up telling me the password was changed,maybe make sure you get that message?

Even if your account is linked, you may still change the password in game. Just log in and click the edit account button in the character select screen, select change password, enter your old password, and then type the new one you want.
If you need to reset your password because you forgot it or are unable to log in for whatever reason, then you will have to deal with NCSoft support on a linked account.
edit: At above, I believe a password reset request on an unlinked account sends an email confirmation first, but I am uncertain. My account(s) have been linked since 2007, and I do not know the current procedure.

Please elaborate. If you are asking whether you can change your password in game without using the NCSoft Master Account or contacting support, yes, I am certain of that. I have no reason to test the password reset functionality, however, so I am just repeating reports from others. ANet may have made changes since I last used that feature.

I've been having a similar problem with one of my mule accounts, for some reason I can't get an email when I reset the password. I managed to have my CD codes but haven't gotten an email from Anet support after NCsupport transfered me to them. This was a week ago.
And yeah, I can reset my other accounts just fine.

Usually you get an email with a temporary password after you request the password to be reset. Unfortunately, I have not received such email.
My question was if any of you had a similar problem. If so, maybe is a bug introduced with the recent changes to GW UI. but if its not, then I will probably have to deal with support.

Just a thought, but did you check your spam or junk mail? Sometimes it get sent there.

Same problem here... no matter how many times i click on "reset password", there is no email reaching my inbox... new bug? possibly... and its annoying cuz u have to deal with those slowpokes at NCSOFT.

I got the same problem, after some time away from GW i didnt remember my car name, mailed suport and they gave me the name of him. But aparently i did also forget my pw, tried reset but after 2 days of no mail i contacted suport again and they asked some questions and said that some one would contact me again as soon as possible! That was one week ago, and ive been sending new questions and all of them have just been ''closed''! GOD im tierd of them!!!!
