Is this a glitch?
Junato
So from not playing GW since the summer I started playing. To my surprise I had a build with dervish skills that require a scythe right, but I had no scythe I had daggers. So I just went out to kill some monsters and thats when I noticed I am using scythe attacks with daggers and I am like isn't this odd. Can someone clarify to what is going on? Is it a glitch or something new?

It might help if you posted the build so we would know what skills you're talking about. It might be you're looking at melee attack skills, and not scythe attack skills.

the scythe attack skills are eremites attack and mystic sweep and are they useable with daggers?
Markaedw
both of those skills are listed as melee skills and my dervish can still use them when she has daggers.

They are not Scythe Attacks, they are Melee Attacks, and as such usable with any melee weapon (scythe, daggers, sword, hammer, axe).
Bob Slydell
They are melee skills, but require Scythe Mastery to rank up in quality.

If the skill was listed in the description as a "scythe attack", it means it requires a scythe. Just because a skill is a dervish skill doesnt mean you need a scythe. If the skill is listed as a "melee attack" in the description, it can be used with any melee weapon.

Okay Now I understand. Sweet deal!
Killed u man
Tough note:
You don't even need any mastery (Scythe), to do full damage with them. (Dagger anyways) But if you want more +dmg, you obviously will need to invest in it.
This skills are useless on daggers tough, when skills such as jagged strike, and black mantis thrust exist.
Those melee attacks are best with a Scythe or a hammer.
