After spending the majority of my time in EotN since its introduction, I have noticed that dungeon running is one of the most profitable activities in the game. After maxing out titles on my monk, sin, rit, mes, necro, and ele, I was left with the task of maxing titles on my war, derv, para, and ranger. This is when, as considering myself a dungeon runner, I got a dose of my own medicine. I found that, imo, most dungeon runs are considerably over-priced. This in turn has made me decide to lower my prices, when not working on other characters, to try and offset this gouging. So now out of boredom I am making this lil write up on dungeons prices currently and their actual worth imo.
Current Dungeon Prices
CoF~2k
Ooze~5k
SoD~5-7k
Darkrime~7-10k
Kath~10-12k
Rragars~12-14k
Oolas~6-8k
Bogroots~8-10k
HoS~8-10k
SoO~8-10k
Arachni~14-20k
Bloodstone~12-14k
Ravens~18-20k
Frostmaws~20-25k
Vloxen~20-30k
Slavers Sub~5-10kea
Slavers Dunc~20-25k
Okay so there are the current prices ranges for the 16 dungeons that are run. This is merely an observational list.
Here is my OPINION on what prices should be considering time and difficulty.
CoF~2k (How can anyone complain)
Ooze~5k (this isn't bad)
SoD~3-5k (it only takes 12 mins)
Darkrime~5-7k (one of the easiest perma dungeon runs)
Kath~7-10k (7k if run by perma solo, more if 600/perma run)
Rragars~7-10k (same as Kath)
Oolas~4-6k (almost entirely ran by permas, and really only run lvls 1+2)
Bogroots~5-8k (only sliver 2 foes, group shrine jumps)
HoS~8k (no real complaints on this one)
SoO~8-10k (again no real complaints here)
Arachni~10-12k (exploits key bug, only cost here is cons)
Bloodstone~8-12k (low end if perma, high if 600/smite)
Ravens~15k (this is easier and faster to discord than run)
Frostmaws~15k (due to time and 5 bu costs)
Vloxen~15-20k (this dungeon sucks...but so does the end chest)
Slavers Sub~3-5kea (it's NM for crying out loud)
Slavers Dunc~5-10k (one of the biggest jokes of running)
Now I know there are varients of perma and 600/smite and there are benefits of each.
Perma=Speed
600/Smite=Drops, Rep,+ Self Sufficent
There are several reasons I believe that when both options are viable the perma variant should cost less.
1)Requires customers to do more
2)Does not require heros, hence allowing more paying customers
3)Does not kill as many foes, so less Rep for customers and less drops
4)Price of cons are offset by increased profit due to lack of hero leeching
Many people will argue "But they are paying for speed!" On the runs where the perma option decreases the amount of time where this actually is noticeable, the perma option pretty much dominates the run. So on runs like Kath, Bloodstone, + Rragars customers benefit more from 600 runs.
All in all, this is a result of my conscienous catching up with me. Some runs, imo, use collusion to keep prices high. (Duncan being a prime example) How can a run that only takes 10mins (getting everyone end chest) be worth 20-25k per person? The run itself is simple and killing duncan only takes 4-6mins. I am lucky here as I have taught Slavers to several people and get free runs, but most are not as fortunate.
Well that about wraps up my rant. In closing, I will simply say that I am only advocating for lower prices not trying to "screw" anyone. I pratice what I preach and if anyone has ever gotten a run by me, they can attest to that.
Thanks!~Take care and Have fun~

My biggest problem with dungeon runs is they don't actually perform the service they advertise. If the player is required to participate, it is not a run by my definition. The runner is just leading a party and dictating the builds and tactics. But I really don't care what they charge or what they do, since I don't care to join them. And if people are willing to pay, then both parties are free to exchange as they see fit.

this could actually be really useful, at least until said nerfs are here. i never know how much i should expect to be paying to have a dungeon ran. thanks.

its all about the lazy people, speed freaks, bored players, or someone with way too much gold on hand that keeps these prices where they are. As long as there are people willing to pay the higher amounts there is nothing we or anyone else can do about it and I personally say "good job" to the runners cashing in.
Bet if you followed your pricing guidelines you would have a line of people waiting for you to run them
(and on a side note, going in to any of these with a good friend and some heroes, or a guild group is a lot more rewarding and fun than having it run for you)
