Question about guild requirements.

I would like to start a luxon aligned guild to utilize the double faction donation. Is there any minimum requirements to starting a guild? Minimum membership? Does the guild get deleted after X days if there's no members buy myself? Anything like that?

I did a search, and checked the wiki; search was useless guild recruitment and unrelated threads and wiki doesn't list any minimums only maximum members.

I am currently in a Kurz aligned guild that I will temporarily leave and then rejoin after I'm done grinding this ridiculous title. So I really can't just "Go try it" at least not without hassle that a simple post can prevent.

Thanks for any information!

There is only 1 requirement to start a guild: 100 coins. And you CAN be in a guild all by yourself, they will NOT delete it. Hope that helped!

You need to have a cape and a sigil to buy a guild hall. Then you need to pledge alliance to wichever side you want by going to Cavalon and HzH and talking to the respective NPC for that, hand out 500g and that's it.

I'm sure you have reason, but I'm still curious: why not simply join a Luxon guild temporarily?

There's certainly plenty of guilds out there who would take your faction donations, even if you didn't plan on staying in the guild. My guild doesn't care much about faction, but we don't mind sending an invite to someone so they can work on the title; as long as they don't randomly curse everyone out, like the last guy. ;-)

Mostly because I really do not mesh well with a guild environment and random people. I also don't always work on the title, so "How long?" is a question I couldn't answer other than "As long as it takes".

All in all, just easier if I control all variables.
