Beyond Lvl 20, what would my level be?
Horsetears
I've seen the formula used to calculate what your level would be after level 20, but I'm not a math whiz and I really don't know how to use it.
I was just wondering with over 8 mil xp on one character, what would that character's level be now if the cap wasn't there? Does anyone have a table that shows this by chance? I think it would be something interesting to see.
Just curious, thanks

DBMan
n = level
T(n) = your experience

1 skill point = 1 level so you can estimate from that.

Has no-one ever heard of a calculator? You have the formula, and you know your experience. Fill in the blanks...

Hi back at you.
Yea, I somehow managed to see that you were only 2 mil behind me. Oopsie. :P
Why? When I have the work of others to do it for me?

You realize it takes just as many key presses on a calculator to find the answer yourself rather than typing a question to ask the answer? The calculator will give you the answer faster, too. If you don't know the formula or where to enter the variables, that's one thing, but if you do, then ...
At least the OP didn't know how to use the formula.

@ DBMan: 1 level is not always one skill point. Skill points are capped at 15,000 XP while the amount of XP needed to get to the next level increases by 600 at each level. I.e. to go from 23 to 24 would indeed take 15,000 XP but to go from 24 to 25 would take 15,600 XP and from 25 to 26 would take 16,200 XP.
The same post on Wiki talks about how much XP is gained for each kill. Question: can you deathlevel a monster beyond level 20? If you are level 20 the monster should get XP for killing you until he reaches level 26.

Some of you have some truly incredible play time under your belts.
I just checked, and On my main I have 1,707,125 XP - with confidence I can say I don't have more than 4million xp total across all my characters.

If levels beyond 20 mattered or were at least displayable I'm sure they'd use a completely different formula and/or a major rebalance of xp points gained above 20 (to prevent absurdly large numbers showing as levels), but since there's simply no such a thing as levels above 20... then we can come with meaningless big numbers based on gained skillpoints, that show nothing else than gained skillpoints, doh.

You definately do a lot of raptor farming, I'll give you that. I wonder who has the trophy for most Asuran and how many points they have in it.

This. You hit the nail on the head. ;D
Good lord. 500,000 Asuran points? And here I thought me having 300-350k points in all 4 rep tiers was sad. I give you props on that. xD You definately do a lot of raptor farming, I'll give you that. I wonder who has the trophy for most Asuran and how many points they have in it. |

Of course, this all assumes that the level progression would be linear after 20..... which it might not be.

Funny thing i noticed is some people are obsessed with BIG levels like for instance World of warcraft has level 80 as a max if i am right? Now because guild wars only goes to level 20 i know people who will not play guild wars just because it is relatively easy and pretty straight forward to get to level 20 rather than level 80, Crazy.
Anyway i think if guild wars had level levelling open just purely for numbers sake then they might have had a larger player base just because of it? Does that make sense...
