Are chest drops better in HM?

I've heard they're the same, but if so then it doesn't make sense to me why lockpick retention rates would be worse in HM. Please discuss.

short answer: chest drops are better in HM.

Yes, NM is like purples usually, HM is tomes and golds

Also I gotten a lot of elite tomes drop from HM chests....

HM has the chance for elite tomes to drop, although I'm not sure if there is a better gold/purple drop ratio or not.

I've been vanquishing the lasy few weeks - the ratio of gold to purple is much better. And as said normal and elite tomes.

Yeah, they're better. And for other purposes, including regular drops from mobs as well as end chests, you're better off going Hard Mode if you feel comfortable with it.

Boreal Station chest HM runs ftw.

I was always happy with my HM chest drops, much better than nm.
