I first played domain of anguish back on nightfall's release and had a lot of fun there back when bonding/obby tank/Searing Flames was being used. I've since taken a break and when I came back I noticed there are no people in DoA... ever.

I wanted to complete the area a few times and maybe get a couple of ambraces but I have no clue how to find a group for this area.

How do you find a group for DoA? Or even a guild which completes DoA?

Do people still do this part of the game in groups or is it just solo farming like the rest of Guild Wars?

Will I need a max lightbringer rank?

Here is what you do...

Either milk the last days of dual SF tank OR make an Imbagon and grab a friend and go 2+6 with lots of direct damage and a cleaner. Searingway has been defunct for a long time and hello fellow "oldschool" DoA player

As Reformed has already said.. Get a guildie (if you`re in a guild), pack Save Yourselves and do it with Discord necro heroes.

You can also try and find a guild that does DoASCs. An experienced group can clear the whole area in 1hr with the caster spike. Mind you you will have to learn how to roll an Elementalist, Necromancer, Monk, Mesmer and Sin for your Tank or 100b warrior for the Manly spike.

assuming you know DoA, get another player or 2 and rock Heroes and roll the place

The only practical way is the one imnotyourmother said...pay for a run. Unless you are in one of the few very active guilds already its better off just to quit the game and wait for GW2 and hope that its a game where you don't need "connections" just to play. You'll be hard pressed to find a decent guilds that actually do fast DoA runs or players that will do heroway with you.

Sorry to burst your bubble there UnChosen, but my alliance alone has 5 guilds doing sub hour-1 hour runs. The guilds aren't hard pressed to find, you just have to look a little bit.
