Can i be b&?

For my character named:
Give Me A Bowjob
BOWjob. Not BLOWjob.

Probably, or you wouldn't have to ask. You obviously recognize that you're pushing a line, and the line may push back. Is it really so important to you to test the limits? Why not just pick a nice, normal name instead of trying for a phrase to make some kind of statement?
Dzjudz
If you have to ask, the answer is probably probably.

I'm like 98% sure that someone's delicate sensibilities will be hurt by that name so yeah, you'll probably end up with GW time-out. the sad thing is, it might be a week or a year until it happens. I'd let it ride and then just re-name when the time comes (if ever).
-if you want to keep the name, without worries, keep a low profile. carebears are mostly chat observers. that being said, keep it short and simple if you need to use Local chat for anything.
/edit
I's also like to add, if you PvP you'll probably get the time-out much sooner.

You're obviously trying to be offensive/whatever, so there really isn't much difference when deciding whether you get banned or not.
MisterB
No. It's impossible for you to be "b&," because b& is not a word.

Kapral

Eragon Zarroc

Popeye1906
I dont know if you can be b&, but you sure can be (insert flames here)

I completely agree with everything said here, except: I think that at least (remember "at least") 55% of the people in the game would either be offended and report you so you would get a GW Timeout, or they would just report you because they can. Although honestly, I could really careless what anyones names are and I think names are just a personal statement about yourself. So... Yep... Probably...
Grim Aragorn
reported, enjoy your ban
ccfrecc
Generally, if you have to question your own actions, it is generally an ill-advised action... So I would still say probably even though like mentioned above my post... "Guild Wars Staff will generally ban anyone for any name reported even if it is not a "Bad Reference."

Ok thanks for your opinions, ill have to thank Sir Grim Aragorn, the gentleman who affrims having reported me o.O
Kerwyn Nasilan
Or you could
A). not pick a childish name
B). Not pick a combination of (dark/evil/super/awesome) (movie/book/video game character). Oh and dont use X's

Yes.
Would I take offense? No.
Would/Should people take offense? No.
Will you get reported and SUSPENDED (not banned)? Yes, you will.
And 95% chance it'll be for fun, a guy and his friends or guild will stalk and multi-report you forcing anet to take action.
Sorry man.

Do it... i don't find it offensive.
I played RA with char named "Deflorated Was Gwen" for 3 months and no one reported me.
12 year old kids won't get it and others just don't care

Rushin Roulette
Yea, but thats normal that Gwen has been deflorated. Nick helped with that (Remember that he was collecting red Iris flowers during his first week and every farmer was stealing them from Gwen's garden behind EotN =p )
Zebideedee
I don't find that offensive, some vindictive sad little kid with nothing better to do would probably report you for it though
Happened to me on a Monk, after 10 months, all of a sudden temp ban (at Halloween no less), then I seen the masks and didn't feel so bad

You will not be banned for that name. You will however receive a suspension of X with the requirement of changing the name after.
As others have said. If you have to ask, then the answer is yes.

I'd report you. Not because I'm easily offended, but I can't stand people who are trying to circumvent the system using such obvious tricks.

The problem is that such infantile names eventually result in annoying infantile behavior when a person gets suspended. Like a five-year-old playing innocent while telling his mom "No, *I* didn't break the lamp" while thinking "it was the BALL I threw that broke the lamp", then feeling wounded when his mom holds him responsible anyway. The suspendee ends up whining "but I didn't SAY <badword>" while thinking "I just wanted people to read it that way". Then they cry that ANet is being unfair by holding them responsible for their obvious intent instead of being in awe of their great cleverness in skirting the rules.
Arduin
I'd rather see those people cry on a forum so they get banned there too, than them feeling all superior for cheating the rules.
That behavior shouldn't be supported in any kind.

I recommend using straight and easy character names that cannot be misinterpreted. Why someone seeks for names that can be interpreted in different, probably inappropriate ways for an RPG I don't understand. Only to see how far someone can go with bending the rules? That's boring. And you are left with an ugly name you cannot identify yourself with.
I would be embarrassed if it turns out that I chose a character name that is a swear word in other popular languages and would think about deleting that character or buying a name change.

My main character for nearly EVER has been Jarek, I thought it up one day, I liked the ring, and went with it, turns out it means tree, or wood or something a long those lines in Polish, I never would have guessed. Then I made a Knight called Yahway in WAR, turns out I was insulting Jews, because I had written the name of their god in actual letters, rather doing the whole Harry Potter "he who shall not be named" thing, amusing thing being, I had no idea it had any correlation to the Jewish religion at all.
ican the farmer
It will pass it's nothing bad in that name. U just need to get yout bow fixed
