Is it possible to finish a mission for the 1. time without getting the reward?

Hi,
is it possible to finish a mission for the first time without getting the mission reward? Some people said it would be possible if u drop out of the game shortly before the mission is over. I tried that with 2 Acoounts but couldnt figure it out. If i reconnected i got the reward and if i logged in again i didnt finish the mission.
Is here somebody who knows about that?
Cheers.

You can just redo the mission...

I think he wants to do something like 'get to Hell's Precipice at level 1' or something and needs to "complete" the mission but without receiving the experience reward.
As far as I know, I've never heard of a way of accomplishing this, sorry.

EDIT: I mean, barring certain missions. I think the only mission you need to actually complete to get to Augury is Sanctum Cay, but I could be wrong. Prophecies is very run-friendly, though.

What is the point of doing this all? Just having a lvl 1-2-3 in a late mission
It's kinda stupid in my opinion

lvl 1 in hells prec = pre searing, take mes secondary, get a run to THK, do just the mission, then do ring of fire and you're there. Obvi someone does the missions for you and no bonus. You will be around lvl 1 and 70%.

Double-checking wiki - you need 2000 xp to get to Level 2, right? Each Prophecies mission on NM gives you 1k xp without bonus, and to get to Ring of Fire you'd need to get through Sanctum Cay and Thunderhead Keep... which would net you 2k xp total from mission rewards.

lvl 1 in Hell's Precipice is not possible. Reward from THK, RoF and Abaddon's Mouth is 3k + xp you can skip from presearing...you should be level 3 or maybe level 2...lvl1 in hells was possible just for a short time...with teh guild hall glitch.
Also the perma lvl 1 idea is just a thing most people are doing just for the lulz...
I dont have a perma lvl1 char...but i intend to make one...and I'll get the consumables titles on him.

Lvl 2 at hells is possible, but it hinges on your actions in pre searing mainly.

Getting to ELC as a level one has always been a bit of a fad. That's as far as you can go, though - every mission thereafter is compulsary at 1000xp a pop. THK gave you 1000 and it just takes 2000 for L2.

So, how does one go about getting r5 deld + to the end of eotn? ^^

In response to the people talking about level 1s in end game missions and things like that: 2 years ago there was a glitch that allowed a person to map travel someone's character to an outpost, even if the other character didn't have that. I got a level 1 paragon to Abaddon's Gate this way.
So yeah... They may have used that.

But the thing i dont understand is how can somebody still be a level 10 when finishing eotn? You need to be level 10 to enter eotn and you get plenty of xp finishing the primary quests and missions.

I think you can get a ferry to Central Transfer Chamber. So no need to finish the quests...only to get r5 deldrimor

I have a level 1 character from Night Falls at Ring of Fire mission, and I have seen a level 1 character from Tyria there as well. My level 1 was done with out the GH bug as that was before my time. No clue how the Tyria one got there as I cant seem to leave pre on an E/Me with less than 1000 xp.

Is there a reason to all this that I'm missing? I don't see the point except to say I've done it. Enlighten me please.

That's the whole point. Plus is in the human nature to catch attention of others on yourself: that's the reason people spend lots of ectos on fow armor, and chaos gloves, and black dyes, and titles. I know is everyone's opinion on how those things look, but really, you dont have to be a genius to see that some combinations just dont match, but will make people say: "hey, look at those shiny hands" or "wow, look at that, first time I see someone with a rank on that title so high". Same thing here: having a level 1 character running around wearing granite or grotto armor and maybe with r1 KoaBD title will make people go o_0.
And some people find this like a challenge: getting as far as you can earning the lowest amount of xp. Is like lets see how far I can get without leveling up.

Not exactly but almost: as long as you got to eotn and went into HoM to remove the closed gates (so you are able to enter battledepths), by joining a person who can have the DD quest (i.e. completed/almost completed eotn) you can do DD (though you won't get any sort of reward for it) at the end of which you end up in CtC.
