Can Someone Do This?

Take one character on 1 computer and then take 7 of your other characters (on your account) and put them in your party and go to The Deep or Fissure of Woe and have a Hay-Day? You would get all the Drops/Gold...
Achrr The Archer
Not possible on the same account. Also, Questions and Answers.
Dzjudz
You can only log on on 1 char at the same time. You could do many accounts though.
Fay Vert
Plus loot scaling doesn't work as ANet described so filling the party won't work anyhow.

Can you please stop posting questions like this in the Riverside forum? That's why we have this forum, for questions of this nature.
Thanks.
Thanks.

That Is EXACTLY what I was talking about and I probably should have explained it more clearly...

Questions and Answers are for basic questions, which return simple factual answers. Riverside is for discussion topics. Look at the types of threads in each sections. It's pretty clear what each forum is for.

no you cant run more than one character on one account at a time. if you have multiple accounts tho it's possible, but i dont know if you could run 8 at once. if you can more power to you lol.
it can get confusing. i'm still confused about all the different forums that seem to be for the same thing, so i stick to buy, sell, and guild things lol.

Those things in the very bottom category would be in the Q&A section. Those in the second to bottom category would be in Riverside. Anything higher is just too much to handle.

No doubt theres some sad git out there with 12 accounts & 12 computers to play them on
Just don't shine any lights directly at them

If you have multiple accounts then yes it is possible to login on more than one and join the same party and go into the same explorable area at the same time.
You don't even need to use multiple computers as with multi launching programs you can run multiple instances of the GW client on one machine.
If you have enough accounts and enough computer power to run multiple clients then the only problem you face is trying to control them all at the same time. Taking a balanced team of 8 or 12 into an elite mission is ok but when you get there you can only control one character at any one time which would make it almost impossible to complete or very slow if you did.
Farming on the other hand works better, one example is 600 Smiting where you could take two accounts and therefore get all the drops for yourself. If you have more accounts you can add these along for even more drops, specially from dungeon chests etc.
In other games it is possible to control multiple clients from the same inputs as these games allow these type of controls however it is against the EULA of GW to run any kind of bot/macro that would control multiple clients at the same time as it gives you a decided advantage of all other players and therefore is against the rules.
Hope this helps.

To put it simply:
There is absolutely no way to use more than one character at a time that is on one single account.
There is a way, however, to run multiple instances of Guild Wars at the same time, which allows you to sign on to multiple accounts to play at the same time.
Guild Wars Multi-Launch
Which brings us to this. It isn't Guild Wars. It's worse.
