As you know Wintersday Redux will be repeated 29th January to 7 February.

Its time when we usually get Canthan New Year. This year a chineese new year starts 14th ferbruary.

So will we get two special events one by one? 7th Feb end of Wintersday Redux and the next weekend CNY? I didnt heard any rumors about CNY this year. Was it cancelled?

Yes Canthan New Year will be a week after the Wintersday Redux.

It was scheduled for the 12th anyway, there wasn't anything postponed o_o The only reason it was a week earlier last year, was because, erm, that's when the actual Chinese NY was :P

They assume not all men like to watch other men pin each other to the ground in crotch-hugging tights.

On the other hand, I wasen't aware watching tv and playing guild wars was a hard task. Heaven forbid you turn your head toward the television.

EDIT: Even then, all the superbowl is about anymore is marketing, if your watching the superbowl for the football you are watching the wrong thing.

There are probably lots of events in other countries during certain GW events as well. Superbowl isn't anything special, especially for non-Americans.

I could understand the frustration if you had to be at the PC to get the rewards, but you don't. Park one of your characters and go watch football.

Its not Anets fault blame the NFL and TV stations.
How the heck can a game with Four 15 minute quarters take well over 3 hours to play.
Not to mention the extra 2 hours taken up by pre and post match footage.

Anyway even if you watch it all you would only miss a small part of the GW event.

there are PLENTY of people who dont give my rats behind about some american football game....besides, the NY finale lasts ALL DAY not just a few hours----watch your precccioussss game in the afternoon, in the morning do the finale, or after wards, or do what most people do AFK the whole thing, geez doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure that one out. (now the world soccer finals----that lots of people care about!).
glad they worked it out so that peeps who missed the hat may get one now.
