Mouvelian calender - 876 AE - 1076 AE

Year by year, Daniel succumbs more and more to the form of an Ice Elemental, slowly turning into a facet of ice, in doing so preserving his immortal soul. Such is the legacy of Myish, Lady of the Lake and King Lanthorn the Cursed, said to be, among the Norn the precursor to the Nornbear. It is rumoured he found solace in the lair of the snowmen, where he resigned himself to his icy fate and prayed to the Gods one last time. In the faded Dwarven runes from the journal of King Hundar, it speaks that Grenth first visited this barely human man, and bid him welcome into the icy depths of the Underworld, where the spirits of the Ice Wastes awaited him. Clasping his arms (saturating his spirit with icy immortality) he began to draw his essence into the Underworld. If not for the timely arrival of a well placed snowball, Daniel would be no more. Overcome with sheer dumbfounded amazement, he witnessed a certain feminine elf casually saying to the Lord of Death and Ice, "Why you’re Godship, it seems you have a snowball on your head!"

Grenth cursed him for his father’s crimes and for resisting death, thus making him an Envoy. It would seem that Frozenwind did not fully come under Grenth's power, due to the intervention of the mysterious elf. It is known that every Envoy bears the mark of that which killed them, the ice had put Daniel at the brink, but had not killed him. It was then that Dwayna blessed him, and he became a Snowman.

Envoys are shepherds of the souls of the dead, but unlike them, Envoy Frozenwind is a shepherd of the holiday spirit. As an Envoy will appear to a newly departed soul, Envoy Frozenwind appears when festivities are on the air. His tasks on Wintersday are numerous, but the main ones are to summon the Wintersday creatures Elf and Grench alike to Tyria, remind people of what makes Wintersday and try to sway the balance in favour of Dwayna.

Frozenwind has taken up this mantle at Wintersday since before the war between Kryta and Ascalon. There are records of his original name in an ancient Ascalon census dating back to the time of the founding of Nolani, suggesting that he was once a Flaming Sceptre Mage. Scholars insist that if this mysterious spirit existed, he would rival the age of the many long dead legends. The last known residence of this oddity of Ascalonian origin was in a tower in an area known simply as "Wizards Folly", although quiet whispers speak of Frozenwind as an Envoy-King residing in the underworld, guarding the Hall of Judgement from something worse then death itself…

She is a militant type, for which conventional means applied to assassins mean nothing. Where some assassins may earn their title through a swift and stealthy kill, she spares no mercy, using whatever means available to crush her foes both quickly and efficiently, in a more confrontational form. She is outfitted with two katanas, a dagger on her side, and primarily uses a scythe as her method of destruction.

character reference sheet - bewb warning

Story
Eryn grew up in sunny Istan, Elona, under the watchful gaze of the Sunspears. She never knew her parents, having been abandoned as a baby, and what little the Sunspears knew, they would not tell her. She soon grew to be a pretty young lady, adored by all, and her talent in fighting and leading did not go unnoticed. Before long, she was initiated and leading troops into battle against the dark power that was rising.

Abaddon's grip on Elona was strong, and those who finally rid the land of his grip paid a terrible price - paid in the currency of innocence, laughter, compassion and the lives of others. More and more, Eryn withdrew into herself, allowing no strong bonds for fear of losing them anew.

After Abaddon was defeated, the victorious humans persuaded his dark forgemasters to craft powerful weapons for them. Eryn, then an aspiring young warmarshal and one of those who battled the dark god himself, was of the first to recieve a spear that pulsated with Abaddon's feverish power. To draw on this power soon gave her comfort, strenght and supremacy in battle. She found herself cherishing the spear's sinister perfection of both craftsmanship and handling. The darkness captured in the weapon however was not meant to be wielded by humans, and it creepingly started to corrupt her body.

The darkness spread inside her and gradually split her skin to reveal the dark power of Abaddon himself. Although the transformation was horrifying and painful at first, Eryn found that her strenght increased and zealously refused to give up the weapon. She did not age like ordinary humans anymore, and grew lonly and remote on her long hunts. And the darkness continued to expand.

After what felt like years, she was finally summoned by the new godess Kormir and scalded for her selfish behaviour. Kormir told her that if the corruption was not stopped soon, she would turn into a Margonite like the those that had been tempted by Abaddon's power before. Kormir placed runes on her skin to seal the darkness inside Eryn and set an end to its expansion. The changes however could not be reversed, and so Eryn is still out there hunting for dark creatures, an envoy of the Nightfallen Lands

Small backstory
“I did not became an necromancer by choice, I was born one..”

My mother was an Necromancer High Priest of a small cult, which name I cannot say. My father on the other hand was a Priest.. He was an Healer.. I realise that is an odd combination and everyone condemned my father for falling in love with my mother.

When I was little I always spent my times in the Graveyard, Death fascinated me. I remember the first time I raised my first minion, my cat had died and I did not want to lose it..

I knew my mother was able to exploit corpses and make them work for her. This of course my Dad didn’t like. “Let the dead be dead” . So I looked in one of her books and quickly found the spell that would make a minion. I went back to the place where I had buried him and started chanting the spell. I had no idea what I was doing but at that moment it felt all natural. And I succeeded! My first minion, my first Necromancy act. The only downside was that the following day my father had it killed. But I knew what I was destined to do. What I was destined to become…

I was to become a great Necromancer, one that would control an army of minions…

Small bio: She was born in a vabbian noble family, related to prince Ahmtur the mighty but with ascalonian ancestors on father's side (hence the non-elonian surname). Even though her relatives tried hard to make her a "well educated young lady", she stayed a wild soul, fascinated by the nature and in particulary animals. So when rumors of unexplored lands and many new wild animals living north reached vabbi, she ran away from home, joined the sunspears and, when opportunity came, volunteered to join an expedition to the north. There she found Coco - a white moa, which soon became her pride and joy. Together they stopped the undead invasion in Kryta, defeated the plague in Cantha, favored the ascension of the new Goddes of Truth and became respected by asurans, dwarfts, norn and the ascalonian vanguard troops. /end bio

She was born on Istan into a family of life-long Sunspears (her mother a Monk, her father a Warrior, and her older half-sister a Paragon), and it surprised no one when she kept up the tradition and went into training as a Sunspear herself, choosing to train as a Dervish. She quickly showed herself to be skilled with both a scythe and magic. The other Sunspear trainers noticed that she showed the signs of being someone who could take command, and also trained her in leadership abilities, though it wasn't something she hugely cared for. By the time she was 21, she had already risen to the rank of Commander, and was training new Sunspears herself.

She's traveled all over the world of Tyria, and came to the conclusion that she hates snow (the Shiverpeaks are far too cold for a native of Istan, she says, though that armor the Norn make almost makes it tolerable), though she loved the Kurzick areas of Cantha, allying with the Kurzicks while there. While traveling through Elona to stop Varesh, she fell in love with Vabbi and decided to settle there after everything was done with (assuming that they would win and she would survive it, of course).

Farai is more than capable of leading, but she doesn't prefer it, feeling more comfortable running into the middle of a fight herself. She is a devoted follower of the old gods, and in particular worships Lyssa and Dwayna. She is a fairly serious person, not given much to joking around; she'd rather get straight to the point and get things done with. She's also very stubborn, and doesn't like giving up on things that she's started, even if it kills her in the process (and sometimes it has. Thank the gods for monks). She's also very short, and likes to use this to her advantage - not many people will find someone who barely comes up to their shoulders as much of a threat, though she'll happily prove them wrong.

Don't really care how "accurate" you are with the stuff she's wearing, anything you can come up with on your own is fine too. You could draw her naked of course, as a part of an anatomy study, she's supposed to be quite muscular. :3
