what should i do when i lag ?

Well here's the thing . What should i do when i suddenly experience lag while being KD-ed ?

Last time i tried, i clicked X . Died at 1.26mil exp which is not nice -.-

What would you suggest i should do ?

Also you can sit in corner , cover your head with blanket and hope that everything with be ok, somehow.

The only thing you can do when you lag out while trying for survivor is close the game and hope you did it fast enough.

Close the game. Then run around your house screaming. Then find a bed and hide under the blankets.

actually [I'm not sure] I think closing the game will not solve the problem, since if you close it fast, you get dc'ed after 5 or 10 seconds. I remember having read this on a forum, not sure tho.

If you're going for the Survivor Title, and you're actually going through the game...Bring Protective Bond. If you're doing Kilroy's, just mash 8 and hope for the best.

Nothing.....you're lagging so what can you do besides pray you don't die?

i've heard a few say zone go GH . does that make a difference ?

edit: Also, how much exp can you get for going through all the campaigns ? and getting masters reward in NM .

Um, don't play when you're lagging/have a bad connection?

I just came to that obvious conclusion after loosing 2 lengthy deathlevel sessions because of crappy connection caused by weather (wtf, tornado warning in CA?). Pounding on the keyboard just makes you look stupid, trust me, I know.

Usually my internet does lag . only when someone suddenly gets on , then all of a sudden BAM . lag -.-

anyway, i've decided to go with completing all 4 campaigns of course with wiki's help

What about simply logging out using F12 + C? Wouldn't that 'stop' the game at least faster than the 5-10 second the server uses to disconnect?

This. Watching ~1000 dmg hitting you all at once after the lag ends is pretty neat to watch.

Next time, try farming frost wurm.

With scrolls of slayer insight, you get 14.25k exp/scroll in other words,

14.25k exp in 6/7 mins . i have to go through some parts of eotn first to get my pve skills and after i get them, then i'll go farm wurms . hopefully i don't die

Cynical way to look at it: When you lag out, your stuff is still running at 1ms latency locally on their server's hardware (127.0.0.1 IP on TCP/IP stack), continuing to play for a good amount of seconds all alone, you've lost control to the server and it proceeds to kill you silently within a single hard drive read/write to the database milliseconds later.

Going for survivor is srsbsns.
