GW Crashing???
Streengs
I'm using a Sony Vaio laptop to play GW and as of lately When I'm playing the game will crash and an error report comes up that says "A Serious error has occurred that prevents the program from continuing to run; however, your help can help prevent this error from occurring in the future by rreporting the error to ArenaNet. Please press the send button to report this error." I've tried reinstalling, I've done multiple virus/malware/spyware scans, I've done a system restore to a time before this started happening and nothing has worked. Someone pls help! It happens roughly every 10 to 15 mins of play.

P.s. I have 4gb of ram, Intel Core 2 duo CPU T6600 2.2 GHz, on windows 7.

Have you added anything recently to your computer ?
New hardware ?
New software ?
Uppdated any drivers ?
How old is the computer ?
Does it get hot ? ( use program for checking temp inside computer )

I have not added any new programs. No hardware or software. I bought the computer new on oct 10 2009. I'll check the temp. but I have a pad it sits on that has 2 fans inside it blowing cool air into the bottom of the laptop.

That error can be the result of many things, but the most common causes would be overheating and driver conflicts.
For overheating, make sure that any fans in the laptop are running and try to blow any dust out of the vents.
For driver conflicts, usually the most stable (but not necessarily latest or best) drivers can be gotten through Windows Update. Or you can check the Sony site for any updates.

Check your computer for Guild Wars: Eye of the North. Maybe your system does not meet one of the requirements. Usually its the video card.

It's probably overheating.

and check your memory with memtest, beside completely removing the old drivers and installing new.
