search didn't come up with much really. I used to play GW a few years ago... PRetty much did everything and stopped. Now, I wanna return. I want to buy nightfalls/factions

1. Can i add those 2 to my main GW account? Or will they be separate accounts? I would totally hate to have separate accounts. If same accounts, how am I suppose to fit those new chars into my char slot when there are only 3? I don't wanna delete my old chars.

2. Can i use the classes from nightfalls/factions to play in the original GW story?

thanks a lot!

1.) you have the choice to combine them into your main account OR have them seperate

2.) You can (after a short period of time playing through the campaign) bring your characters from any other campaign and combine them

- Prophecies: Players need to reach Lion's Arch to travel to the other 2 campaigns

- Factions: Players need to reach the Mainland in order to travel to the other 2 campaigns

- Nightfall: Players need to reach the Consulate Docks to travel to the other 2 campaigns (although there are illegitimate ways of travel as well)

Yes, you usually buy "keys" for the game, rather than a new acount. You can then choose to either start a new acount with those keys, or to add them to existing acounts.

In other words, you can buy Nightfall and Factions (and eye of the north), add the keys to your acount, and play all three games. You will still have all your characters. Adding new campaigns does not delete any characters..

Yes you can add them to your account.

If you look at log in screen ..just below your log in name there is a part to add a key....

Follow the procedure to add them to your existing account ..

Add 1 then ensure it shows ie n/f on the account then go back to the log in and do the same.

In total you will have 8 slots when you add both the key/serials

Yes once you have them added ..any char can cross over to another campaign at a port city....IE..Lions arch in prop...Kiang center in Factions and Kamadden in NF.

ANy char you have at present stays so ie you have 4 slots at present once both added you will have a total of 8

CANNOT. Only to campaigns on the same account, not on different accounts.

Characters cannot hop to any account but your own.

So, if you buy Nightfall and Factions, you will be able to apply them to your account (Just click the "Add CD Key" link on the log in) and you will be able to access them with your existing characters.

ALL of your characters can visit and complete all three campaigns + Eye of the North, regardless of their campaign of origin.

works like expansions. they add on to ur current account. ur characters can cross into those expansions at any time with no cost.

No, at least not by yourself. I don't know if Anet would help you join separate accounts, but I don't think so.

No, just like in your other thread.

Btw, the cheapest thing to do may be to buy the Trilogy (or Complete Collection) and add it to your current account. The Prophecies part would be redundant, but it won't harm anything.
