Can't log in- Update Bug?

Was just in GW and saw the new build popup. Cool, so I close the game and start it up again. Everything is going well until it gets to the login screen. I normally have it where it logs me in automatically, but code 227 came up and said it doesn't recognize my account info. Alright no biggie, just a glich. I tried again and same thing, tried manually putting in all my info, still no luck. It only started happening after the update just a few minutes ago. I've checked my email and there's no message saying Anet changed my email/pass so its probably not a hack attempt. Any info would be nice.

Yeah, I'm experiencing the same problem.

same, just tried it on three different computers, and all failed

"We don't recognize your account login information. Please try again"

Same thing here. Rushed to the GW Updates page, and then here. Since it coincides with the patch, it's obviously a glitch. Though with all the horror stories going around lately, I, too, had the hacking thought pass through my head.

Twiddling my thumbs until this gets repatched....

same here on both my accounts.. and i know they havent been compromised b/c i was playing on both of them when i tried to update them ;p.

Getting the same problem here. Tbh I thought i got hacked at first :P

An ANET employee just hit the delete button on all records from the 'accounts' table :P

if this is the case(which i can tell ur using sarcasm) then we would be all screwed.. so lets hope its not his(tbh Anet employees HAVE been over worked lately.....)

THANK GOD. I thought I'd been hacked. And rift, people are probably panicking so I'm not surprised a bunch of panic threads have been started.

yea that always happnes when a new update happens.. i dont know why they dont just lock it and only allow authorized posting in the updates when there is an update ;p.

It was up for 5 seconds. When I refreshed, it was gone.

I too am having the same problem, but contacted support before coming here,
and was going to ask the same question, but have seen that others are having the same problem, which lightens the frustration a little not heard from support yet but i imagine their trying to get thru all the emails right now
