What are the pros/cons of having them joined / separate accounts?
I'm debating.... My only reason would be if i ever got hacked, i still got the other accounts to play until resolved..

I use mine as extra storage plus I am an officer in my guild so it is helpful to jump in between our Luxon side and Kurz side and I can reinvite myself back to officer status.

You can't really play the game unless you join the 3 campaigns...
Bob Slydell
Nonsense, you can. From different standpoints, anything works. For example if you don't care about skills, you could play each game with their own character to beat the story if you are playing for the story only. But everyone, and myself link it just because thats usually what you do.

I'd say one of the main things of not having your account linked is u will never get some of the Legendary Title tracks, i.e Legenday vanquisher, skill hunter, guardian, and cartographer.

cons: not being able to go to other places.....

There are only pro and no cons for joining you accounts.

I can really not think of any good reason to have three separate accounts, each with one campaign and one of those with the expansion, aside from getting a total of 12 character slots as opposed to eight. The ability to move characters through every campaign and being able to mix all skills together though, seems like too great a pro to be passing up.
Now, it may be beneficial to have a separate, low-key account on which you keep certain valuables, if you're afraid of being hacked or having your account details compromised.

there isn't one single benefit to having 3 separate accounts with all different campaigns. this just may be one of the more severely retarded questions i've seen on here. no offense, just sayin'.
no matter what optimism-ridden post any carebear makes in reference to the question, it is not a good idea and you will not enjoy the game anywhere near as much as you could if you make the mistake of separating them.

I'll join the chorus of voices saying that there's no really good pro to keeping them separate. To play the game to it's fullest, you need to put all 3 campaigns (+ EotN) on one account. That way, all of your characters can have skills and armor from anywhere in the game. It also gives you access to MOX - which is useful as another place to store a weapon - and the Black Moa Chick.
Btw - It may be possible, as has been said, to beg and plead to have your accounts merged later, but there would be no benefit to purposely doing it that way, just a lot of grief.
There really is no benefit to having separate accounts. As you say, you could have an account to play if some other account got hacked, but you'd also have 3 times the chance that one of them would get hacked, and each account would be crippled as far as skills, etc., goes.
