I noticed today on my latest CoF run that something seems to have changed with the number of lucky (and possibly unlucky) points I get when opening a chest with a lockpick. It used to be 250 lucky points per pick retained, but unless I'm much mistaken, it seems to have gone up to 500. Then again, I'm not much at math so I may have miscalculated.
Has anyone else noticed this?
Has ANet changed lucky/unlucky point rate?

It hasn't been admitted by Anet (as far as I know) but this weekend is also a double Lucky/Unlucky weekend, as well as people reporting increased key drops.

I just went and checked and did indeed get 500 lucky points for a lockpick save, this would also explain the crazy # of lockpicks the raptors were giving me!!!

I posted this in the other thread:

I think I've got it! A-net automated the weekend events so that they wouldn't have to set them up manually every week. So I'm guessing that this weekend was set to be a double lucky/unluck/lockpick weekend, and when they worked in the Redux (manually), they didn't cancel the automatic programming (excepting the announcement). So we get a double bonus weekend! Sweet! |
