I have 2 questions regarding this guide http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/d...t10241271.html
I didn't want to post in the thread since it seems not many people are posting in it. So I thought it would be better just to post it here. My first question is: for the stats in the PvE Minion Master build it says death=12+1+3 soul=10+1 heal=8. I'm wondering are the +1,+3 and w/e are. My second question is my stats don't add up to that. i.e. my neco is level 20 right now, but I can only increase my stats up to Death = 12, Soul = 10, Heal = 4 with 2 unused points left.
My next question is about the armor. When I use to play a long time ago there would just be the classic armors like Ascalon, Gladiator's, Knight's, and etc., but now theres all these insignia or w/e and I don't really understand them.
My last question concerns HM. When I played we never had HM so im a little confused about it. I would like to go do the HM in Nightfall from my warrior in Prophecies (Mainly for Raptor farming), so would I have to move my warrior to Elona then finish the campaign twice or until i get to raptors on HM?
Sorry about all the questions, but I just got back to gw so there's a lot of questions buzzing around in my head.
Few questions about GW

Right off the bat, I want to give you a link to the official wiki hosted by ANet - it's a GREAT resource for looking up stuff about the game. It's the player-created/maintained encyclopedia of Guild Wars
http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Main_Page
It's a wiki - so it's written by anyone and everyone. Always remember it's not the official documentation of the game - while it doesn't happen often, there are times when the wiki is wrong. But this game is over four years old with a lot of people playing and a lot of people working on making those wiki articles accurate - odds are usually good that you can trust it.
You did notice that OP hasn't been updated in about a year and a half, right?
That's a fairly standard way of describing the attributes you get total from both the points you spend in the K screen and the bonus you get from armor. You can wear a hat that gives you +1 to any of your primary profession's attributes - that's the +1. You can wear a rune that gives you +1, 2, or 3 (depending on if you wear a minor, major or superior rune) to your attributes. So in this example, they're saying spend enough points to max your Death Magic out at 12 (the highest it can go in K.) Then wear a hat with built-in +1 death magic and a superior death magic rune for +3. They're saying wear a minor rune of soul reaping to get the +1 in SR.
You probably never did the two +15 attribute point quests for the campaign your character started in. Check out this link on wiki
http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Attri...e_point_quests
That's kind of detailed to type out an explanation of here. Again, I'd suggest you check out wiki.
I'd start here: http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Basic_armor
Ok, in order to play Hard Mode in a campaign
Welcome back!
Cheers,

- One character on your account (not necessarily the same character you want to use in HM) has to have finished the last mission of the campaign in Normal Mode.
- The character you play HM with has to be level 20

Back when you stopped playing every armor had a different bonus granted to it, so if you wanted a particular bonus you had to have a specific armor. A while ago armor was changed to have the same basic statistics dependant on profession and an insignia which allows you to put any bonus you would like from a shortlist onto the armor regardless of the form. For example, Gladiators armor used to have an energy bonus. With Insignias, you can have gladiators armor with extra health, extra armor or if you want you can add extra energy to it. Insignias are available from the Rune Trader. There are a few ones common to every profession and a few that are profession specific.
This is a full list of insignias and the bonuses they grant can be found here: http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Insignia while the one that Luny posted will tell you about basic armor.

Ahh, I see now. Thank you very much to both of you for clearing things up.
