I think this is a great thread. Just last night i went into FOWSC and was throwing splinter weapon on the tanks as my job as eoe. Because of the stupidity of the warriors not knowing what the frilly arrow symbol on the red bar means they called me "baby noob" and i wasnt doing my job. well i was and its a game. some people take it so seriously. so i stopped in my tracks and let them continue until the name calling was done. then i was threatened with "leeching", this was even more funny cause i wasnt with them and was getting no drops. after they somewhat cooled down i caught up with the group and proved i was spamming splinter by calling my skills.. even then i got the same grief. well if u gonna act like a kid so can i
the ironic part is that im EOE , i run the griffons. so when i took the griffon quest the badgering continued after a sin left. So with great pleasure i asked them if they wanted to fail. someone said i dare you. well so i did. i ran the griffons right into a group to fail them. you gonna act like an asshole because you think your better..be my guest
After that i got whispers saying they were reporting me for whatever reason and that they and friends that worked at ANET and that my account ifo was going to get stolen.
Well ask me if i care since there is a real world and threats just make me LOL.
In short i find it funny that someone posted this. its no different then how 3/4 of GURU community treats others in the forums with "im leet @ builds" or all the fighting over something stupid like a game.
In fact id rather be known that im the guy that if you start to badger and get pushed because "noob" is your favorite word of choice, well i payed my 1k for the group and im going to waste it how i want to
yeah i get pleasure off seeing those people call other poeple noobs fail.
also noted that when i threatened to fail group that shit giant who badgered me was QQ cause " i want my FOW armor"
