Mezzy or Ranger for RA?

I usually run a W/? on RA but due to the lack of monks i want to go on and try another professions. In your opinion what is better Mezzy or Ranger? I like rangers because they are versatile and have high survivability, and i like mesmers because they can literally decide the course of the matches if played correctly, but i would like to get more input from experienced pvp players. Thx in advance.

Try them both and stick with the one you like better, IMO.

id go mes since they have more shutdown ability.

Ranger, because there is nothing more amazing then a poison spreading, interupting, and just plain old badass ranger.

On the other hand, VoR Mez are highly effective and require no skill.

Rangers own RA. I notice that everytime I go on a high win streak with a team without any heals, it usually has a ranger, or two, or three. They have great survivability, interupts own if done with skill, and spreading poison is big damage). I wouldn't go into mes right away because they are very complicated and squishy as hell.

ranger for more defense and versatility

I'd say mesmer cause PB and VoR are pretty awesome in RA. Ultimately though, you should try both and decide which playstyle you like better. For me it was mesmer but who knows, you may prefer ranger.
