Do I just need r4 for HoM or GWAMM?

I checked Wiki a bit, and if I saw correctly, for some vague GW2 bonuses/candies I only need " My Guild Hall Smells of Rich Mahogany", since that enables me to display 5 titles/accomplishments.

So I don't need GWAMM for anything GW2 related, there won't be additional bonus for GWAMMers as opposed to MGHSRMers?

(Ok, I know that ANet can always change something, but right now this is a general idea right?)

I'm not too sure, but based on what I know:

- If you have rank 2 or higher in this title track, a Rainbow Phoenix will appear in the Hall, which you can tame as a pet. It will only appear if you ''also'' have all four tapestries displayed in the Hall and have no other players/heroes/henchmen in your party as you enter the Hall.
-- Only rank 1 is needed if you also have a "full" Hall of Monuments. The other requirements still apply.
- As higher ranks are earned in this title, the statue representing the Monument of Honor becomes more detailed and distinct.

Apart from those, I do not know of any other benefits that come with raising the title further.

First of all, "My Guild Hall Smells of Rich Mahogany" is rank 5, not rank 4.

Second, what do you mean by 'that enables me to display 5 titles/accomplishments'? You can display 5 at any time. You can have a full HoM with 0 max ranks.

We don't know ANYTHING about the 'bonuses' that the HoM will offer in GW2. Mini pets may give us a mini pet, but we are assuming that, and it could be a weapon, or a title, or an armor, or something not available in GW1. As noted, you don't NEED any titles to fill the HoM. Armor can be obtained without ever getting a title, mini pets can too, as can heroes/pets, as can Destroyer/Tormented weapons, as can 5 monuments like UW clear.

So yes, you can stay with your smelly guild hall and still get the HoM filled, but since we don't know what the HoM will give us for GW2 yet, we don't know if that will be enough or if you will need/want GWAMM.

So bottomline in any case is, I don't need GWAMM for any GW2 benefits, that is, I don't necessarily need any title at all?

Bottom line is no one really knows yet. Just work on what you want. You'll still be able to work on titles after the release of Guild Wars 2.

no one knows.. we might not get anything due to "monatary cutbacks" or something.

don't just play this game for a future item that may completley suck... i have spoken.

Well to be honest I expect it to suck, it's probably going to be some unique skin which I might not even use, like those preorder ones. Or it might be cool skin like japanese Scorpion's Lust (but I'd hate having wrong mods). Or emote. Doubt it will be something more useful like summon.


Still, just for the sake of it, I'd like to know.

bonuses we get in gw2 based on our gw1 accomplishments have not been revealed yet. we don't know. so if ur bored and have nothing better to do, work on getting as many titles and stuff as you can.

You still got plenty of time to get GWAMM, GW2 is still years away.
