+1 X% for shields

In Tyria and Cantha shields sometimes drop with the master of my domain mod for another attribute than their req (ie strength magmas shield with 19% 1+ domination magic). Can the +1 attri be of a caster primary attribute? Like DF, Estorage or SR?

I spend alot of time farmin Tyria and ive never seen a MoMD mod in a primary att. I guess it could happen but ive never come across one.

i believe it COULD happen but the chances are really low( i.e the game wants you to use something other then the main attribute ^^)

I have never seen a shield, that had +1 of a primary attribute (except Strengh).

And, no, it isn't possible to go HCT on a shield.

I can't remember ever seeing a +1 Energy Storage or +1 Soul Reaping on a shield, but I'm 100% sure I had a +1 Divine Favor on a tyrian shield (I was doing some droprate research last year and have its stats in my file).

If it is anything but 20% then dont bother wasting your time getting a buyer.

I've had Divine Favor as well, a few of them actually. Never seen Energy Storage or Soul Reaping, and never seen a Mez attribute at all, though I know they exist.

I believe I got a shield once that had Soul Reaping on it. Ended up in the merch pile and the screen shot is buried somewhere in like 4 gigs of GW jpegs, not to mention somewhere in between probably the 2006 and 2007 layer of those screenies, and I don't feel like looking for it lol.

Like everybody else, I've definitely had Divine Favor, but I don't remember Soul Reaping, Fast Casting, or Energy Storage. Part of that might be that Prophecies had no Soul Reaping skills and no Fast Casting spells, and afaik Ritualist attributes have never been seen on these shields so the drop table wouldn't have changed when Factions was added. I can't explain the Energy Storage though, as there were four core/Proph EStorage spells.
As for never seeing a mesmer attribute, I've had an Illusion Eternal Shield and a Domination Plagueborn along the way (still have the Plagueborn).

wow never knew about the divine favor. but i have never ever EVER seen a prim. shield mod. closest i got was a 20%prot echo shield.

Some people collect the +1 monk shields that have crappy stats and they end usually up paying like 5-30k depending on skin and mods.

... Is it better to do chest runs or get these +1 attribs from drops or just easier to buy them off people? is it better for a monk to go for a +1 heal or +1 divine shield?
