W/Mo Farming Help?

I have been able to farm in Ice Tooth Cave very easy but the drops are a joke.. Few Black Dyes now and then but nothing great. I'm trying to farm hydras but I'm only able to last about 10 seconds before death and deal like 10% damage on them so in other words I barley hurt them. I'm looking for help on farming.

I'm a LV 20 and Have a Total of 170 Attb Points.

Now I'm at Droks in the game, beat the Dragon Lair and got there, so I don't know if I'm fair in the game. When I farm Min in Ice Tooth Cave I set my Stats to:

Healing - 11
Smiting - 11
Axe - (REST)

Then I use these for skills:

Cyclone Axe
Healing Breeze
Symbol of Wraith
Strength of Honor
Live Vicariously
Mending
Balthazar's Spirit
Retribuition

What I do is apply Balth then Retrib, get me about 5+ groups and pretty much own them all, how this works is Balth will give me masive and how should I say... Endless supplie of Mana from being Hit, so I apply Mending then Live Vicariousay then Strength of Honor and keep Healing Breeze on all the time. Cyclone for health and use Wraith for quick damage.

This doesn't work for me on hydras because getting a big enough group fast enough while staying alive is much to hard. Even using Dolyak Signet to not fall...

I use a basic axe of max damage no bonus since I barley have money. I'm using a Plate Helm I made in Droks of 85 armor, +1 str, armor +10 vs phys attacks.

I have the rest of my armor as a Soilders Set for 71 armor. On my chest plate I got a rune of minor absorb and on my legging I got a minor vigot rune.

This is my shield, and I'll just take a screen shot for you all I guess...

First get at least the collectors armor in the desert. The hydras are a lot harder than the little minos outside ice tooth. Before you should start to solo do both quests for the 15 attribute points. One is in destinys gorge and the other is in droks from vanyi. After you do both you will have 200 attribute points which really helps. Get the axe that can be crafted in droks. After you have max armor and max attribute points you should start to look around the forum for builds to solo hydras. Check out the hydra solo build by Don't feel no pain, it is very easy to use and you should be having no problem soloing at all on your first try.

Thanks for the info, I got one of the att quests done. Now to do the next one... Gosh I cannot wait to get rolling! :O

Im gona keep my 80 or is it 85 plate helm though and get the collectors armor now.

Well I got my collectors armor yesterday. The chest, pants, gauts, boots. All armor 80. My helm is still 85 armor plate helm which I like.

I got a new axe, Vampric Chaos Axe which does nice. I got all my stat points now, so now I'll be beating Thunders keep soon.

I also got my armor blessed or whatever Seer does to it.

Now that I got full stats, flurry, defensive tatic skills would I be able to farm hydras good? I can farm griffs but I had to rely on Symbol of Wraith for damage while I healed. (That was when I had 170 att)

I think I need to get some elites.
