Since this is the only site I know of, I'll throw it here.
Just in advance, I have been through multiple e-mails with NCsoft and Guild Wars Tech Support.
Anyways, I played Guild Wars for about a year and then quit. This was around 10-14 months ago. So, a veeeeery long time. Anyways, would anyone happen to know if it is possible to recover my account if I lost my product keys for the expansions?
(I had Guild Wars Prophecies, Eye of the Storm, Nightfall, and one other. It was 4 total)
But ever since they changed to the NCsoft thing, I've found it impossible to really even do anything. I knew my e-mail address (username) and password. But that was altered, apparently, when they implemented everyone's account into NCsoft.
Then made it even more impossible when they now require you to enter an existing character's name to log in.
Long story short: Without having any product key and failing to remember any character name on my quite old account, is there ANY way to get it back?
[Account] Question. ;-;

No matter what you do, everything will point straight back to Support, or finding your Product Keys. (Wherever they may be.. in my case: in the basement/attic, inside a box, buried under everything imaginable, including things I never knew I owned)..
In any case, hopefully you've seen this or this. If you haven't, then I suggest you scanning them over (even though you've now probably memorized what they want from you when you contact them).
One of the better ways to get help is to post on Gaile's talk page, because Support can be so...macro'd. (Which is one thing I'm sick of). If you're patient enough, you'll probably be able to get your account back.
Best of luck though; I hope you're able to recover your account. If it's absolutely impossible to recover your account, there's always the choice of spending $50 more on all three games and the expansion, though that is quite unreasonable.

Isn't it $50 a piece? Amounting to $200?
o.o
And could I get a link to this Gaile's talk page? I am patient enough. I just want it back.

unless you totally uninstalled ...you might want to check and see if you have any old screen shots ....they might have your character names in them...this would help with support.

If your username and password don't work, then your account has probably been hacked.
In any case, you will need "proof of purchase" - the access key numbers - to be able to get the account back, obviously. Otherwise, anyone could "swear" they own any account.
It might be simplest just to buy the Trilogy and start over.

Gaile's Talk Page
But I suggest posting your issue on this page, since it has more incidents and would probably be a better spot than her normal talk page.
But, as others have mentioned - look for some screenshots, or talk to people that you've played with in RL (If anyone you personally know has played Guild Wars with you; nobody has in my case).
Simple, yes. Cost effective, not at all.
(Though, re-purchasing the entire game would help you in the future, as long as you put the boxes in a convenient location that wouldn't be disturbed, in case this ever happened again).
Hopefully you won't have to do that, though. If you did, I'd be willing to help you out. I know how sucky restarting entire characters/accounts can be.

Well, thank god for that. I have the money. But all I really did was PvP a lot with Random Battles. I just miss the uniqueness of GW. And the endless builds. :P I also wanted a MMO to play. So I really don't need help with anything. o_o I didn't get far at all in PvE either.
But I very much thank you, Minimal, for helping me.
