I don't think the white boxes contain anything, no manual etc, just a quick reference card, an access key card and a disc.

Dzjudz may be right. There wasn't a CE of EotN. In terms of game content they will be identical.

The white boxes aren't a CE, they're just a re-release in a cheaper box (just a white dvd-case).

Example. This is an example of what boxes are available in Europe now (at least in the Netherlands). The top 4 boxes are how the campaigns and eotn look (white boxes), the 5th box is the European Complete Collection (all 4 games, unlike the American Trilogy which only contains the 3 campaigns).

In any case, the white box won't contain anything special.

Hope that clears it up.

The white box comes with the fire imp summon.
But inside its very plain, like was said above, no manual no map nothing extra, just cd the activation card and the paper the activation card os glued on.

I have both versions of the box and contents, so I hope that helped.

Game content is the same overall... you would just be getting different box art for eye candy on your shelf.

So it's just a traditional thin DVD case? Kinda weird.

I would personally go with the non white one, The guild wars manual is written in a nice story way, its nice to read when your bored, or waiting on something.

The white box is a normal size cd/dvd game box, its just empty.

The white box is like many bargain bin release boxes, they just have the cd and maybe a paper about the publisher, and it tells you to go online somewhere to read the manual, The guildwars box however does not have a line that says something like that, so its even more cheap.

PS ill trade you my cover for the EotN map.

The white one has an Ice Imp. The other one hasn't.

You don't even need a manual to play the game, because you should already have one from the campaign you are linking it to.

For the white box version, doesn't the manual come as a pdf on the dvd?
