Hey,
I'm thinking about giving chest running a shot, so I'd like to know which chests are the most profitable to open.
I don't mind slow title progress, mainly going to do it for fun and drops.
So, which chests are worth it?

I find that Luxon chest fit into this catagory. I don't know why, but for some reason there is an interest for items that come from these chest. (outcast, bo staffs, jellyfish) I've been selling jellyfish wands which I normally would have merched for 10-30e each...lol

Fow chests seem to have good drops and chests around eotn raptor area can give u saurian scythes.

If you want to chest run, Mirror of Lyss is great. Ruby/Jeweled Daggers, Serp. Reavers, Elite Tomes, Ruby Mauls etc. Usually there are 5 to 6 chests in the area and it is easy to get around the mobs out there.

Since I do SoOSC a lot... I would say Fendi's Chest is profitable. You have a higher chance for a BDS than a Voltaic Spear from Exile's chest.

I think he means chests which require a key to open, not end-of-dungeon chests.

I save all my lockpicks for the Raptor cave. Whenever I farm there, I always bring all picks I have saved up.
But of course, I would like to know where there are other good HM places to use lockpicks too.

i do Undercity chest runs (factions)
enter from Vizuniah, HM, get 2-5 chest+ kill the ele kappa boss.
One run yesterday gave me two gold weps, 1 elite ele, 1 elite rit, and one elite mesmer
and that happends alot :d

If you're feeling lucky you can try kurz chests in melandrus hope, morning veil falls, etc. They'll drop echovalds, ornate, and amber aegis shields which are highly sought after and some nice rare weapons.

I recently (yesterday) Finished treasure hunting by only doing Cantha HM chesting, and well from 10000 chests only 5 somewhat decent drops. and then alot normal and elite tomes + mods.
if you want fast and cheap title. just run at Eye of the north and sell unids.

To get it done quickly, do the Boreal Station Chest Run. 1-2 Locked Chests in ~1 min. The drops aren't anything rare or spectacular, but it will get your Treasure Hunter Title in (relatively) short order.
Running in NM will save you gold, but running in HM will get you Elite Tome drops, which I find more than make up for the cost of more broken Lockpicks.
The reason Factions chests are nice is because there are quite a few Factions-only weapon skins that do not drop anywhere else in the game (no inscribable versions around). If you get one of those and the bonuses on them are highly sought after they can sell for a pretty penny.
