hey guys a friend and i are gonna start playing guild wars. we both have all the campaigns. ive actually have played through the 1st one before (5yrs or so ago) with my 20 war, ele, necro however my friend hasnt and he is starting off new.

any way we are going to play through all of them! (i know, its sucha a mission uh?!) so what type of team builds are we looking for if we wanna fly through the campaigs. he has alrdy decided to become a war but i myself dont really know, maybe a ranger but i dont know yet. all i know is i dont wanna play another war or ele or necro.

also i sort of remember u can get heroes but i cant remember where you get them from when playing through the first game, it would be nice if some one can tell me. so we could use heroes rather than those god aweful bodyguard people (if memoery serves correctly theyre quite shit).

lastly i remember healers are really important in this game so it would be great if some 1 could post or reconmend any healer builds for heroes (i think necros are good healers? from what ive been reading but i dont reallt get it lol, i thought monks were best at healing.). in fact any build regarding lvling up warriors or a ranger would be briliant.

P.s please dont use any abbreviations, i mean what is soh or oop or mm or sos. ive seen them coming up on posts alot but i have no idea what theyre.

Best Build atm is Discord Way. U Need Eotn to get 3 necs (Go to guildwars Wiki And search for Olias, Livia and Master of Whispers on how to acauire them)


The Next Best Set of builds would be Sabway:
It also use 3 necs. If ur short 1 nec I would use a ele and run the Spiteful Spirit build on
him.

Heros are given in Nightfall. And the Henchmen got updated, so they're not as bad as they used to be.

They're probably Strength of Honor, Order of Pain, Minion Master, and Signet of Spirits, respectively.

it depends on what campaign u guys start in if proph then get ur guys to lions arch and at lvl 10 bring them to eye of the north there u are treated as lvl 20 even if ur not u get heros off the bat and is fastest to lvl up in
from there go to nightfall grab more heros and get quest to get olias back in lions arch. if u want tripple necro[recomended] than u have to play through half the story arc of nightfall[easier with olias as minion master] have fun and good luck oh and livia [another nec hero] is in the asuran quest line of eye of the north

cheers guys, especially the ones who recommend a team build or 2 and not just throw a list of them at me and hurt me. Half the time i dont even know why theyre good. Discord seems quite good but i dont really understand how sabway is good, where does the dmg come from?

ive done a bit more reading now and realise that getting 3 necros will take way way too long. so im just gonna take a minion master necro, a monk healer (woh or unyielding) i still dont understand why a necro healer is better they seem pretty much the same to me.

Shake N Bake suggested a ele with ss. why is ss so good it does like 35 dmg each time the enermy does something. also arent monsters normally quite distant apart from each other to make it decent? secondly ive read some where that strength of honor is quite good for physical teams so does having a war and ranger count as a physical team or is that too small of a number. so should i put that on the ele? or should i get ss? or should i get order? ive read that order is quite good for physical as well but it doesnt work on minions or something, i dont actually know what it is. hehe

a necro healer is very powerful because of soul reaping which monk healers don't have
this gives them a huge amount of energy from pve because of all the deaths
also strength of honor got a major buff and is worth using even if its just one physical
sabway damage comes from the large minion wall+death nova (a technique known as minion bombing) and life stealing from heals
