Official Word on the Lack of Balance?

I'm seriously pissed off about this,are we likely to get any official word/excuse as to why we go another period with no promised balance?

No, Anet doesn't talk with the community. When they do decide to come on Guru, they talk about non-important issues.

Anet balances PvE?

People want PvE balanced?

That time of the month again?

They don't need to excuse. They said February, February ends in 16 days.

Since the last update happened on January 28, and since the next balance after the one we're expecting for February won't happen, period, they probably wanted to have at least three weeks between updates.

Try being optimistic. They could just tell us the Update has ben postponed again and it's scheduled for March, because they were super-busy introducing new (?) content for the CNY. That means, bug-testing the new summoning stone. Which, incidentally, will be SO well tested that it will cause American districts to disconnect all together for 48 hours, Finales not happening and Miniature Celestial Tiger not being distributed with Lunar Fortunes at all. That will require an hotfix tomorrow and will probably cause a CNY redux in March, which will postpone the Update further. But hey, what do we know...

Eh, GW may be going through a rough patch, but its still more balanced then 90% of the MMOs out there.

Is it perfect? No. Is it bad enough that they need to "justify" anything to you? Hell no.

I have a wonderful idea about how to make Guild Wars, my favorite on-line game by the way, a more enjoyable game:

Kill Shadow Form! KILL IT!!! KILL IT DEAD!!! Make it go away and never come back! Burn it and scatter the ashes in the unexplored depths of the Echovald Forest! I'm not one to make threats, but if you don't eradicate the very memory of Shadow Form, I'm gonna tell my Mommy!
