unable to switch characters

Apparently I need help to figure this out. I am unable to log onto 3 of my 9 pve toons. It gives me error 050 which has something to do with connection to the GW servers and that doesnt really make much sense since I can log on with the others.

and another question, when you log into GW and now have to put in a character name, doesn't it take you to that character on the log on screen? I've been trying different names when I log on and it seems to be randomly picking different chars for me??

Obviously I would like to do the CNY quests on all my toons so any help would be appreciated.

I don't really know why you are getting error 50, but I had it earlier when going from int dis in shing jea to american ones. Are all of your chars in the same place? It's just a random guess, but maybe logging on one of the other 6 and changing district might help?
And no, it doesn't take you to the char on the login screen anymore. In my case it takes me to the last char used.

Ok maybe it is the last character used. I just couldnt tell thanks to the 050 errors.

From what I can tell my chars that I cant log on are all different levels and in different places. I guess im still gonna have to take a closer look.

Well after awhile I was able to log on some of the chars that I could not earlier, and then some that I could before now I was unable. It was like a game within the game and very frustrating. Things seem to be cleared up atm though and I even found a bday gift!

I've the same problem all char that stay at shing jea i can't log in

Its been happening on and off most of today. I suppose most people don't notice cause 90% of them are afk on 9 rings. Maybe its just a few of us, but I highly doubt it.

It's pretty amazing that there are almost 150 Shing Jea districts atm, that might have something to do with it.

Hope they run the Canthan New Year Redux, cause I an experiencing the same issues too. I know there is alot of people on, but havent been able to get back on since early today. Getting the Code 050 issue with my on toon that is able to get to the monastary

I also had a lot of problems with some of my characters. Problems were located in Kamadan and Shing Jea Monastery.

I even had one character kicked just before the fireworks were given out at the feast.

My guess is there's just too much traffic in Kamadan and Shing Jea Island (all the characters running around doing lunar token quests). I didn't have a problem running my quests Fri/Sat... but it appears movement into/out of these cities is a bit at a standstill.

It's also not my internet connection. Char1 got kicked off and given code=50 to come back, while Char2 on second acct got to hang out in the exact same district on the rings. Only difference might've been Char1 moving towards the chef area, which always slows down when the game renders the 100 or so Nine Rings players in the background.

try going on one of the non-code=050 characters and going to asia or europe district with them. The go to chara selection screen, and you should be able to go onto the other characters. Worked for me

as for your second question, idk. Mines doesnt take me to the character on the log in screen anymore. It just goes to the last character I logged or with.
