Code=50

I've been experiencing this code=50 on just my perma sin when im farming TOPK, Its rather unusual because my Guild wars is allowed on firewall, So what else is causing this error to take place?

I asked my alliance and a few other people are getting this code, its also stopping me from zoning to places giving me Reattempting to connect(code=50).

If anybody else is experiencing this please post, tell me what it is and how to prevent this.

Me and my wife both are experiencing this issue today as well. It only is a problem on our chars parked in NF area though. We can play all our chars that are anywhere else on the game but soon as we try to switch to a char that is in NF we get booted off with error code:050. Sure would appreciate a fix but nothing forthcoming so far. I was looking forward to lots of lunar tokens if you know what I mean!

Yeah exactly what i was experiencing i tried changing my charrs and could get onto anything but my assassin and dervish. After i finally got onto my assassin and changed to Europe district i don't seem to be getting these code errors any more. Try changing district and see if that helps you.

I'm getting this as well whenever I try to log on on my ranger. Sucks because my ranger is the only one I like to play >_>

This is only occurring on the char I have logged into Shing Jea -- everywhere else (including Elona) is unaffected, though I have not tried to travel to Cantha since I noticed the problem this morning.

Same, my sin is getting this when I tried to log in, my ranger works fine though.

I got it when trying to go to the Shing Jea monestary. I also got it when existing obs mode and now can't log in for more than 10 sec with out getting it again.

I'm getting it for GH, Shing Jea, and all Nightfall just started for me at 12:30pm PST

Everyone trying to map to Shing Jea around 20.05 GMT was crying about error 50.

seems like alot of people are getting this. look on the other thread and ask the op of the "cant change chars thread" and see what he did. I would merit a guess is that the designers are pulling resources from the other districts adn servers in the game to help counter act the 170+ districts in american districts of shing jea. Thats just an idea( not proven so idk) but it seems likely w/ the vents and all the strain on the servers from just shing jea.

I've been getting this error the whole day when I'm trying to enter Kamadan with my 2nd account, wich has a character in it already. I can login and play with every character, but the one that's in already in Kamadan I can't.

Wich is weird because with my 1st account I can go there and leave, so...

I can't log into any of my chars which have been parked in LA since New Years, whom happen to be the only chars left able to run the token quests. However I can take chars from Shing Jea to LA and then relog onto them and walk around LA just fine.

I'm feeling a CNY redux if people can't even get to Shing Jea for the finales.

i got code 50 as well but restarted guildwars and working now

Whenever i got the error i logged out of the game, Log back on, when i finaly get onto my charr(Farming TOPK atm for ectos as im getting obsidian for dervish before SF nerf ) i change dis and dont get the error for a few hours.

I get this same error with some of my characters, but not all. Somer (mainly my pre-searing characters) can still get into the game, but my Nightfall character, my main Prophecies character and my secondary Prophecies character cannot login. They all get the error code=050. Is there a solution? Apparently I can't participate in the New Year's celebration because of it, which kind of sucks.

I have 7 characters trapped by code 50, in L.A (American) 1 account and 1 trapped in Kamadan (American).I took them there for Wintersday 2009 Redux because I wanted to get the new headpieces for my 2nd and 3rd accounts. I really had hoped to get some easy painless extra exp for my survivor characters during Canthan new year =(
Playing since May 16th 2005, this is the worst experience with error codes ever =(

Every time the gifts come in Shing Jea, and I turn in my tokens and go outside of town and use the Lunar Tokens, whenever I try to either re-enter town or map to a different town, I get the Code 50. If I close GW and wait about 10 minutes, then everything is fine.

I've also been having troubles with 1 char and error 050 in kamadan I have closed gw and started again no fix there. Made a report and told NC-soft that i wasn't having troubles with other char's.
The respons I've gotten was, a large list of questions concerning my system, provider, router, using it at home or somewhere else, firewall etc. etc. but if that was the problem and i'm not a tech but i would think i could not get into any char? So now the only thing to do for me is to download the Game Advisor that's in the e-mail

I'm getting the same error code when I try to log onto any of my chars in Kamadan. The others are all fine.

Made the asian dance :-) got 1 working char. Changed to Asian district, changed to char that was feeling a bit sick because of the 050 bug. And i can use my char again.
