[ HOM and Mini Pets + GW2 ]

So, how does it work when we have mini pets, and Guildwars 2 comes out?
Will we be able too bring them into GW2 via HOM? I thought someone said once you dedicate a mini pet and put him into halls, you'll be able too bring him into Guildwars 2 once it comes out. Is this true ? Or how does it work ?

We don't know, Arenanet has not released any information about what advantages or perks your GW1 HoM will provide for your GW2 character. The person you were talking to that said you would be able to transfer your GW1 minipets into GW2 was, at best, making baseless speculation.

we sadly dont know how it will work. we may get nothing for minis or everything for just the minis. we just dont know. but, once anet realeses any info gwg will be the first to know .

Truth is NOBODY KNOWS, except GW2 Devs and until they say how the HoM will work nobody will know, we can only speculate......

I don't really like the idea of weapons, mini's from gw1 to gw2. I would rather see new things in the game. Ok so it's not sure what the effect is yet, and I don't think they will tell us anytime soon.

You will not be able to bring mini-pets, weapons, gold, or anything else from GW1 to GW2. Adding things to your HoM in GW1 will unlock stuff in GW2 (GW2 content). What that stuff is no one knows, except possilby the GW2 team at A-Net.

If I were to hazard a guess as to what we'd get by putting minipets/weapons/etc into the HoM, odds are we get some sort of unique minipet and perhaps unlock bonus weapons or get a unique weapon from the HoM sometime in GW2.

It would be cool if your character started out with very little knowledge of his ancestor's activities. And you stumble upon the eye once you reach a certain point and discover that he/she was this great hero and they left all of this stuff for their decendants to find. That then sets you on your world travels to find out what else your ancestor did.
