Hi guys. I have recently recieved GW trilogy and am currently playing the original guild wars. I was wondering if I wanted to install the trilogy but keep the current characters I have, is there a way to do that? Also my other question is if i was to keep the current characters I have, when i start GW Factions, would my character slots be filled? (I currently have 4 characters for the original GW)

You simply need to add the trilogy key to your existing account in order to keep your characters. After adding the key, you will gain the extra slots for the games that you didn't own before hand.
If you start a new character in Factions (not travel there with an existing one), you will have a character slot filled.
If you start a new character in Factions (not travel there with an existing one), you will have a character slot filled.

I believe the Trilogy gives you 8 character slots, so when you add the key to your existing account, you will have 4 free slots plus your original 4 characters.

Thanks for the help. I just installed trilogy and added the key to my existing account. I was wondering if I can use my prophecies characters for factions or nightfall and if I can how do I do it? As of right now, I do not see a way for my current existing characters to go into one of the other games. I don't know if this is important but I have not beaten prophecies yet. Will I be able to bring my characters to the other games after I beat prophecies?

When you get to the town called Lions Arch in the Prophecies storyline you will be able to pickup quests that can take your character to the other campaigns.

To add to the above: if you start a character in any campaign, you can get quests to go to any of the others by getting to the appropriate town/outpost.
