MaiYun
Hi
I am new in GW (played only 36h..)
and I bought GW:Fractions Collector's Edition..
I got Kuunavang.. and I see those price goes between 300k-500k (A LOT)...
And theres my question.. If i sell it on market for example 450k.. I will get 100k + 50 Ectos..
But whats the point of Ectos.. If merchant want it for 1k and people dont buy it? Also I can't afford Obsidian Armor ;p
Btw I have Nightfall, EN, Fractions now
Thanks for Answer
Also I dont want create new topic so.. can you tell me which skill that Warrior use to get "0" damage??

The price of any item at the merchant has nothing at all to do with the value of an item on the player market.
The Kunnavang is a rare miniature, you can only get it through buying the Factions CE. Therefore there are not as many of them in the game as other items and even less of them are undedicated and available for sale. This makes the price go up.
As for Ectos, they are simply used in trades greater than 100k as you can only trade 100k at any time between players. To do a trade worth more than 100k you need to use another item that has high but standard value, this is generally Ectos, it is like the next currency up after Platinum.
As for not being able to afford Obsidian Armor, well you're at a very early stage of the game, at no point do you need Obsidian Armor, but if you want to get it at some point then keep playing, keep saving, when you're able to you can do some farming and eventually you can get there. Or just sell your Kunnavang!
Hope that helps answer some of your questions, good luck and have fun!

Ectos are used not so much for obsidian armor but as another money currency, needed in most tardes over 100k. So pple do/will buy them (currently for around 7k ea) and rare trader will buy them for 5.5k ea (currently) as long as pple value them.
Tha war used Dolyak Signet. The whole build can be found here

To get from nf to factions you either need to follow the storyline till it brings you to consulate docks and then get a quest in kamadan that will bring you to factions or get a "ferry" to docks (a person who has the quest that should bring him/her to docks can take other pple with him/her if they are in the same party) and then from docks to kaineng center. After that you will be able to map travel using the "boat".
EDIT: btw it's factions.

Edit: my mistake, I though you were going from factions. Oops.
You have to first follow the storyline and get to Kaineng Center on the mainland. When you reach this city you will have a popup message telling you that there are two quests available. One will take you to EotN, the other to NF.
As long as you have all your keys and games linked on the same account then you can do these quests to get to those locations.
Also: don't ask for lots of builds on this part of the forum as there are better areas to look for builds and threads here get locked if you just ask for builds.

You are new, so don't worry about things like that yet. Learn how to play the game, and many of those questions will be answered for you. To compare it to something unrelated to Guild Wars, would you jump off the high dive the day after you learned how to swim?
Elephantaliste
don't sell ectos at merchant (but at rare material trader npc !)
players will always buy them
players will always buy them
Trinity Fire Angel
ok... so if the Kunnavang is only thru Factions CE... how come i have seen them in Pre-Searing...? how is this possible?
Yasmine
You can type /bonus (or whatever command it is) on any char (once only ofc). If the char is in pre, the kuuna will be added to that char's inventory in pre.
