theres a bit of confusion about these atm. a few people seem to think that there is a quest in tyria where you can get the 10/10 mod on a sword and are able to salvage it off.
yet noone has said what quest, and i cant find it myself.
ive sold a few of these for 40k and 50k quite easily.

I have heard this rumor too, but even my friend that said that still couldn't give me the name of the quest. I bought one from her for 1 ecto, she said she had 20 of them. However, she said you get them from a Tyrian quest, and I looked through all of the Tyrian quests... TWICE. I still didn't get any luck.

Meh, I wouldn't sweat it, I think it's a load of crum TBH. It would be posted on Wiki and I looked twice and didn't see it. ^^

Ah, and that's why I didn't find it: On GWWiki (not wikiA) it only says "Longsword."
