Hello,
I first want to tell that I know very little about hardware and stuff, so if I'm acting stupid, you know why.
Anyways, I have everything on high, anti-aliasing on 4x, post-process effects, vertical sync and best texture filtering boxes ticked. I was wondering if having an average of ~20-30FPS is normal for a two-month old PC.
The only thing that helps is turning anti-aliasing off(I get 60 FPS then) but it looks quite bad compared to 4x.

I was hoping for at least 40-50 FPS, since my friend is running GW on 60 with 'worse' specs and the same settings. I managed to get the following information about my PC through an application called 'DxDiag':

Operating System: Windows Vistaâ„¢ Home Premium (6.0, Build 6001) Service Pack 1 (6001.vistasp1_gdr.091208-0542)

Windows Dir: C:\Windows
DirectX Version: DirectX 10

DxDiag Version: 6.00.6001.18000 32bit Unicode

EDIT: Also found this about my graphics card:

Like I said, I don't know much about this stuff but I hope I provided enough information.

Coming back to what I asked first: Is 20-30 FPS normal for my PC?

that video card cannot handle such a high resolution -- 1080p is too much for it, even in Guild Wars. I would suggest either turning AA off or lowering the resolution.

So, in other words my video card sucks?
Hmm...
1. Do you recommend buying a new one?
2. If so, do you have any reccomendations?

It doesn't suck. Its too intensive for that video card at 1080p. If you want to run it maxed out 1080p, you should get a new video card. Now that depends on your budget.

Do you have any price estimate? I don't know what to look for(which specs are good enough), so I can't try and find one myself or I'll risk buying a wrong one.
Edit:Actually, tell me the specs I should be aiming for and I should be fine.

To max out Guild Wars at that resolution I would suggest an ATI Radeon HD 4650 or 4670, the latter is more powerful but will cost more too. Either one should run on your current power supply as well, but you may need to upgrade that as well.

Just checked and those and those are within my budget.
Thanks a lot for your input, Elder III and Hey homies!
