Rough Perma for new SF - Please contribute ideas to improve!
Bathal Nasp
I think the core skills are pretty much Glyph, SF, Crit Agility, plus 1 or two other enchants (preferably ones that reapply or have long duration).
Tested so far in HM against junk outside Kamadan, Ascalon, and the good old vaettirs with no problem.
Hopefully people with better ideas than me can work it into some more effecient solo farm or tanking builds.

If nothing else, it looks like a decent build for general use as an Assassin, but there have probably been better things available since pre-update for that kind of use.
Doesn't look like it has a lot of group killing power, which is probably a good thing.

/sigh...are you permas kidding? I guess ANet will have to adjust the skill FURTHER to just smash it into oblivion because you children never learn.

The potential of the Shadow Form build has been hit a great deal in the last patch. It's not like the skill needs to be useless.

as always
i would suggest you dont post the final build if its a great one
why?well i know maybe you are generous or something..thats good but keep in mind people will share your build and eventually itl get nerfed

doesn't really matter since it won't get nerfed too fast...

They did a good job on this rework. They've made adjustments that prevent Shadow Form from being permanently-maintainable near-invulnerability that still had the ability to output pretty decent damage on its own (with multiple variations), but they didn't completely kill the skill into something undesirable or useless.
Took the devs a little too long to take care of this, imho, but they're the devs and I'm not, so "meh"!

The whole idea behind "Skill Balancing" is SKILL BALANCE!!
Smiters Booning a skill is every bit as unbalanced as SF was before the nerf. It's just un-balanced in the opposite direction, and is every bit as bad for game balance as op skills are... The problem is, the community is proving that without a full removal of the skill, or at least a full change of the skill, they will not adapt to new builds, and will just continue to beat their heads against the wall for it. There are plenty of other Assassin builds out there that work just fine, this patch opened up several new ones as well, yet people are not even taking the time to look at them, but rather frantically trying to make Shadow Form viable again, thats not a good sign.
Literally, one of the other threads on this section is saying that "well, if we had a bonder monk, maybe a wammo, and a good ss necro, we could probably continue to farm UW with this build...." What? Wasn't the point of these builds to basically be able to handle things yourself, why not just do a normal PvE run with you know, a group, and an actual build?

Complete removal of a skill is never a good idea, what do you have against farming? I'm a semi casual(time-wise) player, with out a few Pve skill sand good teamwork and well planed build taking full advantage of the skills we have available too us, so we make normal group with our own variation on the build so we can farm in 1-2 hours instead 5+, I'm glad SF is removed, I think they made Spell breaker a unusable skill, now and Spirit spamming is overpowered even more.
But at least SF is still a viable skill, I don't believe the thread creator screamed "SF not uber leet any more!!!111" he was just suggesting new way to use it in some maybe minor farming.
Now when the Devs learn how to balance skills correctly instead of the, normal pattern of skill "x" is too powerful, nerf to unusable, and buff the hell out of skill "Y" so people play this class more, to make up for nerf.
Atleast leaving SF as useful is a step in the right direction.
And I always been a fan of figuring out weird builds that take advantage of skills.
Although i think this debate would be alot easier if PvX wiki and others didn't exist.
