Anyone know which NVIDIA video driver setting messes up some environment textures in Guild Wars? I don't remember which one...

BTW: I'm already using 196.21 driver.

Messes up? Im afraid I do not know what you mean... I've never had any of my textures "mess up" due to the nVidia control panel. Can you be more specific as to what the problem is?

Set antialiasing and anisotropic filtering to Application Controlled, and don't clamp the Negative LOD bias. Turn on triple filtering.

19x.xx are terrible drivers. Everyone has issues with them, really.

Go with 18x.xx, I believe I'm on 188 or something. And make SURE you do a clean install.

How can those affect the textures exactly? I have mine as enhance (x32Q AA) and I have it set to Clamp and I have no problems.

Just a guess, but... The fires do not animate because your Guild Wars client has probably been on for over 7 hours. Animations stop working after your GW has been on for 7+ hours.

Everyone? I'm using 196.34 betas, and have had no issues in any of my games.
196.21 did break Rivatuner for me though.

I've never done the whole 'strip my machine of everything nvidia' when updating my drivers. I just install the new ones over the old one. Never had a problem.

I must be doing something wrong.
