glyph of swiftness?

got a question is there anyway to make a perma sin without glyph of swiftness? i have all 3 campaigns and i don't have eotn therefore i can't get glyph of swiftness... is there another skill i can replace it with?

i tryed that skill...did not work to well...shadow form runs out before the skill is recharged

after the update.you can perma with any class now just using DP and SF at 12 shadow arts

Make sure you have a superior rune for shadow arts in your headpiece.

okay dp ? i looked up and can't find nothing sf means shadow form but what does dp mean?

deadly paradox= dp... You could have not maintained shadow form up with only dp, you also needed a 20% enchants weapon and a bu [essence of celerity +16 shadow arts // -> lucky case, the halves skills recharge inherent mod on ur staff makes sf recharge faster] therefore, you needed an essence of celerity, 16 shadow arts, deadly paradox and a 20% enchants weapon to keep SF up without glyph. Now, after the nerf, I haven't played guild wars, due to the fact I am out of the town for the weekend, so I can't give any more helpful advice. I'll see for myself what the nerf did, by this time tomorrow, maybe I can come with more helpful advice then.

14 Shadow Arts and Deadly Paradox are all that is needed to maintain Shadowform now.

how though ? i tryed it at 12 shadow arts and could not maintain shadow form...when shadow form ran out the skill was still recharging

sigh at sf but will help anyway you also using a 20% longer enchant weapon at 12 shadow arts with deadly paradox up :S if not that might be the problem :P any higher in shadow arts wont go wrong either ie will help give more time between casts of shadow form.

so it would go in hand 20% enchant weapon hit deadly paradox then cast shadow form then it should recharge before it runs out

[[Shadow Form (PvE) can be maintained at 14 Shadow Arts with [[Glyph of Swiftness] and a enchanting mod. Similarly, an A/Me can maintain Shadow Form by just using [[Arcane Echo] and [[Deadly Paradox] (Cast Deadly Paradox before Arcane Echo).

However, Shadow Form was changed in the 20100225 Game update so a lot of the old farming builds that used it no longer works. So I do not understand why you would want or need to maintain it.

Because SF is the new Spell breaker for 600's.

There are still builds that can use the skill.

There just no longer "perma" invincible without smiter/bonder, though.

You should be able to figger something out from there.

i did...the closest one i seen was serpets quickness...meaning i have to be a ranger which i have no clue where to start with a a/r

Maintaining Shadow Form on any profession, the requirements:

12 Shadow Arts
Weapon with 20% enchanting mod
Deadly Paradox
Shadow Form

1. Cast Deadly Paradox
2. Cast Shadow Form
3. Right before Shadow Form runs out, cast Deadly Paradox
4. Cast Shadow Form
5. Right before Shadow Form runs out, cast Deadly Paradox
6. Cast Shadow Form
7. Right before, ah well you get the picture.



Maintaining Shadow Form with just Glyph of Swiftness, only on A/E (or E/A with cons of course), the requirements:

14 Shadow Arts
Weapon with 20% enchanting mod
Glyph of Swiftness
Shadow Form

1. Cast Glyph of Swiftness
2. Cast Shadow Form
3. Right before Shadow Form runs out, cast Glyph of Swiftness
4. Cast Shadow Form

Well good job, why was SF nerfed again? LOL !!!

Because it was the most broken skill in the game. Maintainable near-invulnerability and being able to still kill things solo is not a good thing when game developers tout "balance".

And the point is? So what, who cares, why do i care? Maybe anet should nerf all the skillz so we have no skillz but 123 whine alot because it's over buffed.
