Which secondary profession is best?
NickyKK22
I just started playing as a Paragon and it is time for me to choose my secondary profession and i was wondering which is the "best". I mean works the best with para and the chants.
I have heard that P/R is good for the poison arrows and incendiary because they work with spears.
I have also heard that P/W is good
Also P/E is good i have heard.
I just want to know and i am confused on what i should do.
Thanks

I've always heard P/W is best because the Warrior skills and Paragon skills have good synergy since they both use adrenaline. Also, the Warrior skill, "For Great Justice!" is great for building adrenaline.

Warrior is probably the best secondary for Paragon even with the recent nerf to the Imbagon, its still the only real viable build for Paragon.

Definitely /W for Imbagon:

- Add [["Go For The Eyes!"] for greater energy management. (The additional damage is insignificant against high-level foes.)
- Add [[Anthem of Flame] or [[Anthem of Weariness] to keep up AR outside of battle as well as provide additional damage or defense.
- Add [["We Shall Return!"] and [[Blazing Spear] (Replace Blazing Spear for [[Merciless Spear] if fighting Destroyers or Fire Elementals)
- Swap [[Ebon Battle Standard of Honor] for [[Spear of Fury] for adrenaline instead of damage buffing.
- Against Demons in Nightfall, take [[Lightbringer Signet] for instantly charged "SY!" and energy management.

- Shouts such as [["Watch Yourself!" (PvE)] are effective for energy management and triggering echoes and "chorus" chants.
- [["Coward!"] can be used with the fast adrenaline gain of the Paragon.
- [["Save Yourselves!"] is a very useful party support skill, especially used in conjunction with [["There's Nothing to Fear!"].
- Many warrior shouts, skills, and stances synergize with paragon echoes, shouts, and chants, such as [[Soldier's Strike]
- It should be noted that paragons can affect more allies with their shouts and chants from a mid-party position, so it is advisable to use a spear over melee weaponry. There's not too much reason to go /R or /E, but if you want to:

==Paragon/Ranger==
- Shouts and chants that affect allies also affect pets
- Beast Mastery shouts will benefit from Leadership, though they will only affect one ally and the energy return will reflect this.
- [[Poison Tip Signet] and [[Apply Poison] work well for spreading conditions to trigger skills such as [[Disrupting Throw], although not with the first throw.
