I have access to Prophecies, Nightfall and Eyes of the North (im getting factions in 7 days for my b-day) and im wondering if there are any easy to build PvE farming builds that i can use to farm items. Im pretty sure that i'll need to make a new character anyways so i'll mostlikely delete my ranger. Are there any such builds present? I've looked around everywhere on the internet and i can't find any builds to use since most requires elite skills and access to areas i've never heard of, lol.

Im so pissed off that my character(Lvl 18 R/W, my only character) can't solo anything and dishes out so low damage (and dies in seconds). I can't do anything with my character without a 8/8 party with heroes and henchmen in the Eyes of the North area, im currently working on the quest where i go to the Shrine of the Raven with Olaf Olafson or wtf his name was but i don't understand how im gonna track the tremors in eagle form. I've went through the whole cave several times and aren't making progress.

Thanks in advance.

You have to click around a little bit...

But in all honesty it seems like you are pretty new to the game so any high end farming is out of the question for right now. I would suggest playing through the storyline and getting familiar with the game. You don't have to delete your character in order to make a new one, you can have multiple chars.

pm me in game sometime, I might be able to help you with quests and what not, ign: Ori Balorna

Tomes can be used to unlock a skill on a character that has already been unlocked on your account. You can unlock a skill on your account either by buying it with Balthazar faction from PvP, gaining access to the skill (through various methods) on any PvE character, or unlocking a Hero that has that skill on their bar.

As far as getting beat up all the time good hero builds will make the game much easier, check PVX for them. I used Ogden to heal and Vekk to nuke for along time throw in Olias as a MM and your set. While there are better hero set ups (sab, discord etc etc) these are the ones you should have access to the easiest and first and will help keep you alive a bit longer.

The Raven skill doesnt track the tremors like wolf does the nornbear it keep ya from getting kd. I'm sure wiki has a map and walkthrough to help and like Ori said I would be happy to help if ya need it. Shoot me a PM

The signet can be bought as many time as you have a skill point and the gold

I think your first target to improve your pg is reach lvl 20 and make bonus aatribute points quest. Then, you can change secondary profession and make more exiting build.
Which campaign is your chara from?

Well a lot of these posts have given you some good advice, but quite honestly if you don't build up your heroes and yourself your going to continue to get killed. Looking back I see your only level 18, have you even bothered getting some better armor and making sure you were runed up ? My suggestion is look at these replys to your problems and take the advice. If you plan on rushing through the game and not building your character up with skills, armor, runes, and getting a nice team of heroes you might as well not even start another character if you plan on doing the same thing.

Take this for what its worth but this is exactly what happens to players who get run farther in the game when they can't even survive lower end areas.

I'm not sure of your current cash situation but when I first started out, I would just take Olias as a minion master out of D'Allesio seaboard and kill all the Tengu that roam around there (I was equipped as a touch ranger). In NM, they drop a lot of armors and you can salvage runes off of them to sell at the trader (or use!). They also drop feathers with have some value. Compared to higher end farming, it is absolutely nothing, but it may give you some experience in how farming works and will give you enough cash to outfit yourself and your heroes. Believe it or not, I got my first set of elite armor doing this.

Otherwise, a secondary rit is a very powerful choice for a ranger in that your expertise lowers spirits to a negligible cost and you can solo lots of things.

Seriously though, especially when you get factions (where there are lots of easy 3k experience quests), get your toon to level 20, get ascended (so you can freely switch secondaries), do your attribute quests (for 30 additional attribute points) and get yourself into higher end areas where you can get some decent elite skills. In other words, focus on playing the game.

And Mods, it wouldn't kill the site to actually leave this thread open for a bit.

And get your maximum armor if you haven't already done so!

Here is an idea go to Gunnars Hold and talk to ol Kilroy Stonekin join up on his fight quests. It gives you a preset skill bar (no need for elites by you) you do it alone(everything that drops is your) and it offers lots of exp (you'll be lvl 20 in an hour or so). Pick up everything and sale it when ya get out to the merch.

Yeah make sure you have max armor, runes, good weps, work on the builds and skills and it will come to ya. Mostly have fun or you've started working and stopped playing a game. Oh yeah one more thing make sure to get a heros handbook and fill it as you do Eye so you get the exp. , rep points and GOLD
