A new dungeon

bit maybe we could have a challenge dungeon added to the game that is completly random.
You could choose between short medium and long dungeons
short could be 3 levels
Medium could be 4 levels
Long could be 5 levels
Each level has the possibility to be ANY level from ANY dungeon.
The first level could be level 2 from slavers,
the second level could be the first level from cathedral of flames,
the third level coud be the boss level in Ooze pit.
(this idea is in no way my idea, a buddy enlightened me to this thinking it would be cool)
the dungeon could have an end chest that drops rare weapons and a couple new ones.
The short one could drop a certain set of weapons and items the medium could drop another set of weapons and items and the long one can drop a third set of weapons and items.
New weapons could be introduced, and because of it being so random, it could negate a couple farming builds and push people to do balanced way. The push for the new items would be what would drive them to do it.

They are doing something called the "Apocalypse" IDK what that entails. I just saw it in a dev interview. It has to do with Tyria getting torn apart prior to GW2, but will be in GW1.

Ugh, no more 0.0000000001% chance rare items in an end chest. Make the stuff drop from unfarmable monsters please. All the current dungeon gives ZERO incentives to actually kill stuff, if there are any mobs that can be skipped pretty much everyone would skip them because they know nothing worthwhile will drop.

/notsigned. Doesn't sound fun at all. Besides, for the most part dungeons should get people to customise their builds (for example, running KD counters in the Jotun dungeon) rather than this which would just promote running a single prepackaged set (like Discord).

a know a person posted something that i was rather noobish to overlook, the presence of sabway and discordway...meh, oh well...I like the other idea posted adding nice drops to other monsters in game so you can head ointo a main PvE area and fight a monster, and have a low chance of haveing a nice wep drop.
As for wanting to see stuff fixed yeah id rather that as well.
No more low drop rate weps? what else is addable to the game? collab please XD maybe something can hit the ground running.

I didn't see an idea for a new dungeon. I saw an idea for making a dungeon use existing dungeons randomly. I really don't see any benefit to this, just annoyance. I also see major problems in the coding being done correctly, and this taking months to get finished, which of course Anet isn't going to do with the handful of people on the Live Team.
If they were to add a NEW dungeon/instance, I'd MUCH prefer they put their time/money into realms for Melandru, Lyssa, and Dwayna. But I don't expect to see anything at all anymore, and when I see anything new, I'm pleased.

All that fixed dungeons do is make people prepare a degenerate gimmick farming build that allows them to quickly 1-2man speedrun that dungeon over and over and even run others for cash. That's a bad way to design endgame content and skill balances aren't helping much here.
Randomization practically requires a BALANCED teambuild and offers different challenges every time you go in. The fact it should be a combination of at least 3 levels practically removes possibilities for doing imba farming build and /resigning on getting an unwanted level.
Higher RANDOMIZATION = better replayability, more challenges and prevention of degenerate overfarm = pure WIN.
